  1. That little prick, he leaned into that. I have a bad feeling about a Werth grand slam here.
  2. This is bizarre. Myers has given up 26 hits in his last 3 starts including this one, and has allowed a total of 1 run
  3. Soriano, in these situations we need you to be a little agressive when pitches go right down the middle
  4. And it was 0 outs this time with your 4 and 5 hitters blah
  5. Blah we should have scored there. I know Theriot was held, but he's screwed up so many times on the bases the last few games, I'm going to blame it on him.
  6. Wind seems to be blowing OUT today. Lilly is tied for the league lead in home runs allowed and as raw said Myers has seemed to have reinvented himself as a ground ball pitcher this year.
  7. Interesting. I wonder if this is the first sign of Lou making sure his pitchers are ready to go in October.
  8. Awesome. I've heard that Fontenot is typically reserved...its good to see you had a good convo with him.
  9. Thought this was interesting about Soriano: So this latest walk craze by Sori wasn't just a random boost in walks, rather a conscious desire to be more selection. Maybe the patience bug has infected Soriano as well.
  10. I hope so.. I mean, the CUBS can close the book on them. But the Brewers cant yet, Im starting to figure out why you guys hate the Cards so much.. Bunch of babies they are. No idea if you are referencing Wednesday night's game or not, but if so... I don't blame Pujols for yelling at Villanueva. That was uncalled for, posturing at the StL bench like that. I don't like the Cards much at all, but still. Don't blame Albert for standing up for his team. It has to do more then just that. I agree IF Villy was yelling at the bench (which I still dont think he was) he was out of line. But all they do is cry about everything. They talked about how they don't like us because we watch our homeruns and we untuck our jerseys. When Braun struck out in the 9th, Molina also started saying somethign when Braun was walking away. I just can't stand them. And we can't stand the Brewers, so it looks like the NL central is one big happy family. I don't mind the Brewers honestly, other than the division rivalry.
  11. Seattle in 2001. Their run differential was +300. Geez, we'd better get to work.
  12. Not sure but it wasn't a good decision by Lou. Gaudin's thrown 7 pitches in the last week, all of which came on Tuesday (granted, he did throw 52 on Aug. 22). But what makes it curious is the fact that the pitcher's spot is due up first next inning. Since Wood is unavailable and Marmol would presumably pitch the ninth, I'm not sure who would pitch the eighth. I bet it's Howry after looking halfway decent yesterday. Not that I want it to be.
  13. Sweet....2 on for Utley, Howard and Burrell
  14. 110% chance. and its affected Shark enough to throw a few balls (1 was a pitchout)
  15. Nevermind, Shark in for the 7th. Have no idea who will pitch the 8th
  16. I would think so with the pitcher due up first, then Shark in the 8th and Marmol in the 9th if we are winning.
