Werth is KILLING us tonight. Didn't he have 2 HRs against us earlier this year as well? I also remember him hitting a HR against us in 2004 when he was with LA (a game where Kerry Wood got hurt). I think we have another Cub killer.
Lou is really smart about playing the L/R, R/L matchups but I don't think he looks at the numbers most of the time. Take Ronny Cedeno and his reverse splits for example.
At least Hamels has 58 pitches through 4. Will make it hard for him to go more than 7-8..... he usually throws around 100-110 pitches but has gone as many as 125 in a game this year.
I was excited to watch this game, but I forgot how boring it can get when your team is losing and you're getting absolutely dominated by the opposing pitcher
