  1. It's crazy how Philly has put a RISP in all 4 Top 1sts in this series. 3 times they've scored. Yesterday they didn't
  2. i want some of whatever you've been smokin the last couple days :) I don't know...I just have a feeling. Karstens is a better pitcher than he's been the last 3 starts. The Pirates didn't do awful against CC last weekend. Pittsburgh's due for a win, etc. crew up by one in the fourth...also i was just as much referring to the theriot homer Oh I didn't predict the Theriot thing, someone else did.
  3. Current Phillies vs. Marshall: .377 .404 .491 .895
  4. Whoops, Rickie Weeks leadoff HR looks like I am on crack.
  5. I have never seen so many days with the wind blowing in during the summer in my life.

  7. I have a bold prediction for today's other game. Probably bolder than the Theriot HR prediction yesterday. The Pirates hand CC his first loss as a Brewer today.
  8. How about a nice easy win today guys? Too many close games lately. Plus I have errands to run, so hopefully we can get 7-8 early and breeze to victory.
  9. I don't mind splits in 4 games series....unless your team takes the first 2.
  10. Don't look now guys, the Cardinals are only 10.5 out now.
  11. I would have hated to see you after the Victor Diaz loss, or the Playoff losses last year, or any of the number of losses the Cubs have suffered in agonizing fashion over the years. But, yeah, this was an aggravating loss, thanks to the horrendous umpiring, and the mid 90's Braves pitchers treatment Brett Myers received. He's just pissed because we were only 3 wins away from seeing Len and Bob switch facial hair styles. Give him a break! Edit: Whoops, that joke was already made this thread.
  12. that they should swing at it and make weak contact? screw that. Your right, its much more graceful to stike out looking to end the game.
  13. OK, I know thats a bad strike call....but their pitchers hit that spot maybe 15 times all game...you'd think they would have figured it out by now.
  14. Thanks for showing up today Soriano. You looked awful every time up.
  15. CUBS WIN! Oh wait, I'm so used to the top of the 9th being the end of the game when we're at home.
  16. OK that pitch is almost exactly where Soto was rang up. I rarely complain about umps, but they have been brutal this series for both teams.
  17. I look at it as "our second best option to hit lefties off the bench" more than "backup SS"
  18. Too bad we used up all our options with him already, I believe. What better choices are out there instead of Cedeno? Zambrano might have been a better option lol I agree....without the lol
  19. Has Michigan gained more yards on penalties or on offense.
  20. How did he pitch like crap. He faced 4 batters and struck out 3 of them.
  21. Yeah I'm starting to wonder why Cedeno is here.
  22. I think it was. Either way, too close to take with two strikes though. It was a good pitch then because I highly doubt Soto could have done anything other than foul that off.
  23. Consensus, was that a strike? Edit: I think it was a ball but could have gone either way.
