    Not that its a tough choice, but the Chicago area is showing Jets/Dolphins and Lions/Falcons for its noon games, it makes my choice to watch baseball that much easier. Besides, baseball >>>>> football. I'd take baseball anyday of the week and twice on Sundays.

    This has nothing to do with the Cubs game, but the ONLY way to win my fantasy playoff matchup this weekend was to find a way to lower my ERA a full run. Tonight I started Ben Sheets and Roy Oswalt and they have given me 16 scoreless innings. Now I will probably win. Thanks guys!

    Holy crap...maybe I'm just drunk, but has anyone seen that Jimmy Johns commercial where they order Jimmy Johns during a bank robbery? All the hostages that I saw were white, and then at the end the bank robber reveals himself to be black. What a horrible stereotype portrayed there.

    It's like every Cubs hit that has been building up over the last few days has exploded tonight.

    Well to his credit A) They are only 3 games up on a playoff spot B) The score was 1-0 C) The bullpen pitched a lot of innings yesterday D) It's September E) Sheets only threw 54 pitches in his last start. I am a big fan of watching PCs, but sometimes you guys take it too far. There are some instances where it is perfectly acceptable for your pitcher to throw 120 pitches, and this is one of them.

    I think what happened was, the Cubs were tanking to avoid Arizona in the first round. Now that LA is in first place, the Cubs have started to win again.
