    The thing thats awesome about this....is even if this is the best we see of the Bears this year, this hopefully ensures that we will at least be competitive, which makes the season so much more enjoyable than a 4-12 team.

    To me, this is the best best possible outcome that we could have had in this half. I am still not convinced we win the game my hopes have gone up, and this is really nice to see.

    The pass rush has been embarassingly bad. I can only think of one "hurry" so far.

    The passing game sucks, but I'm happy at least the running game looks respectable. If Angelo made a good 1st day offensive pick I'm going to be stunned.

    This just kinda proves that the Bears d is not going to be anywhere close to 05 level, much less 06. There are issues all over the place. The D-Line is just not the same as before, and that makes everything else different.

    I think the underlying fear is that the crap stretch now will preclude the team from playing in October. Or at least preclude the team from setting up their rotation and resting guys before October.

    sorry, SE Missouri Tech isn't on the schedule this year No but the Falcons are :) say that to our 1-0 record. They looked good. I'm impressed. Now do it against someone other than Detroit :)

    Play the series in a neutral park. The following teams somewhat near Houston are away that weekend: Texas Kansas City Atlanta Near Chicago: Milwaukee Detroit Cincinnati After the series the Cubs go home to play Milwaukee (with a day off Monday), and the Astros go play a series in Florida (with a day off Monday), so since the Astros are the "home team" they will probably chose to play the series close their their next series. I would guess Atlanta is a safe pick.

    Kerry hadn't pitched in nearly a week. He wasn't sharp today at all. At least Harden and Dempster will be pitching in St. Louis most likely.

    you're not stupid, just irrational after tough losses. I know I'm being irrational. That's why I'm asking you, no one is worried that we've very quickly knocked off over a third of our lead in a week, and we are going to be playing a really really difficult schedule over the last 19 games? i am. the 99.whatever% is b.s., just like the cubs being so heavily favored vs the dbacks last post-season was b.s. Good to see I'm not alone. I'm not worried in the respect that I am sitting there freaking out about what the Phillies are doing, but it's definitely on my radar, unlike last week when I wasn't really paying attention to what anyone other then the Brewers were doing
