  1. Bases loaded 2 outs for Votto
  2. I'm assuming its because the Cardinals and Astros are creeping closer
  3. The problem I have is that a sac bunt lowers the odds that the Cubs score that inning (i think), and your asking it from a person who hasn't had a sac bunt in his career and also has an over .500 SLG % for the season.
  4. Can you imagine if the Brewers went 5-4 instead of 2-7 over this stretch? They would be 1.5 games out of first. I mean if you think NSBB is bad now, imagine how bad it could be. I think mods would lock the entire forum for one week.
  5. oh, i don't really think so. i have a feeling that the brewcrew will be chewed up and spit out in the first round if they make it Why do you feel that way?
  6. Who are you talking about? The only 1.5 game lead I see is TB over Boston and its a 60% chance
  7. I was wondering that too. I know many areas not in an NFL market can choose the game they want so for some reason they chose this. I remember the last few years, almost every single week Mississippi had the Packers game because of Favre.
  8. Did anyone see the article in the Trib this morning? They said it wasn't ruled out that the series might be moved to Wrigley. I think that was just speculation though. Either way, they have been discussing alternate options.
  9. If the NL finished Mets, Cubs, Dodgers, Brewers, the matchups at least wouldn't change for the first round. I think the Brewers would take the Mets in a series anyways
  10. The Sun Times recount of it said that Lou looked really angry and his face got redder as the interview went on.
  11. lol are you serious? He broke a finger on a single?
  12. In the Trib, they said if he's not back in a week its unlikely he will be back for the playoffs
  13. At what point do the Brewers worry about the Astros.....only 4 back now. This has 2004/2005 written all over it.
  14. 3 outs from a magic number of 14 LOL
  15. That was Rolen. yeah i see now you're right. oops Amazing, so that was his only Sac bunt of his career right there.
  16. Last time Pujols executed a sac bunt, Geo was 18. Kaplan is pretty much calling Geo mentally weak. Are you serious?? That's terrible. Soto was killing the ball tonight. Bunting with him was a terrible decision. Yeah, he said "hitter's talk themselves out of being able to bunt." "It's part of the game, everyone should be able to do it." Then some idiot called about Pujols and Rolen being able to bunt. Rolen and Pujols have a combined 2 sac bunts in their careers. But I know Scott could do more if he wanted to cause he's white. That's amazing. Kap swears that he turned on the TV a couple of years ago and saw Pujols bunting. Someone needs to call Kap and call him out on his bullHowry
  17. Still waiting for thsi dude to throw a strike
  18. The least he could do is play a little CF since thats a part of the game too.
  19. I just love how these people are focusing on Soto's inability to bunt rather than whether Soto should have been bunting at all.
  20. I don't think its that easy to do. The Brewers were told all they needed to do was untuck their shirts, but they haven't been able to do that for awhile either :)
  21. He really stressed that last part "you have to ROLL UP THE SLEEVES and go KICK SOMEONES ASS"
  22. Lou wasn't irrationally flipping out. He was very stern and to the point. It was actually quite an effective speech.
  23. Turn on 720 its going on now.
