They still can clinch on Thursday. I guess it's more clear to put it this way. The Brewers play 2 on Sunday and 3 in the Cubs series 2+3=5. The Cubs play 2 against HOU and 3 against MIL 2+3=5. Each time the Cubs beat the Brewers the MN goes down 2. So: 10 (current Magic Number) -5 (potential Brewer losses) -5 (potential Cubs wins) ------------------- 0 I was joking, I counted wrong :)
