    "It's great to finally be in the second round" - Orlando Magic Forward Tracy McGrady, while his team led the Detroit Pistons 3 games to 1. Detroit ends up winning the series 4-3.

    We got some breaks, and those breaks ultimately helped us win the game...but there were several calls that could have went the Hawks way that didn't so of course there will be something for Cyno to complain about :)

    He's not going to be fired....he just got an extension and is well respected within the Cubs organization. And the team's injuries will be more than enough of an excuse to keep him employed. We shall see once the sale is complete. You think the first thing the ownership is going to do once it takes over is fire the GM that led the Cubs to the playoffs the last 2 years and pay 2 GMs money?

    I think the stat of the day should be that Neal Cotts has walked the first batter he's faced in 6 of his 14 appearances.

    This is a tough game to watch.

    I honestly think his motive for pitching this year was to get MLB pension for 10 years of MLB service time. I don't fault the guy for doing it, but at least now he'll get it, as the Cubs will likely put him on the DL until that happens.
