  1. I thought for sure that was another hold and was about to laugh hysterically
  2. It is messed up...I think it's 2nd and 32 actually.
  3. The Moneyball guy plays football too?
  4. 6 plays ran so far on this drive and we are 5 yards behind where we started the drive.
  5. Literally a flag on every play and 75% are against the Bears.
  6. 4-5 Edit: Or not yet
  7. Figures...yet another penalty.
  8. Do not let the 2 minute warning occur here in case they dont get the 1st
  9. How many plays until the INT occurs?
  10. They can make it a 7 point game and make the Bears use all their timeouts with that first down.
  11. Wow...just not our night....
  12. There's been four or five times tonight where it looks like he's going to make a move through a hole and bust one and he gets tackled. He's got to hit the holes better (on the few plays a game where there is one. I suggest we accept that he's not more than a mediocre runner. He's a good pass catching RB, and average as a runner. I guess I just don't know what happened. I mean the line last year was better, but it was still awful. He looked great last year. I'm still hesitant to call it a fluke. Actually his overall YPC weren't all that special. We tend to ignore that. Not only was his YPC all that special but it was below average. We attributed it to the opponents stacking 8 in the box and assumed it would get better with Cutler. Instead it got much much much worse.
  13. The 49ers are gonna run the clock all the way down if the Bears don't watch it.
  14. Come on turnover...(assuming we want the Bears to win this still)
  15. Yeah, that last pick was all on Cutler... He's making risky throws where if one thing goes wrong it's a likely pick. Sometimes he'll make a great play and everyone will cheer, other times something goes wrong and its picked off. I've seen people make excuses for almost every single Cutler INT this year. In the NFL almost every pass is risky. I didn't see anything wrong with that last decision. One on one coverage wasn't bad but he underthrew it, giving the DB a chance to jump it. Like I said a lot of the time it's not a pick but Cutler tries to force throws all game and sometimes he's burned. I don't understand, do people not give Cutler any fault for most of his 16 INTs this year? I fully realize a lot of other things have gone wrong to lead to his picks, but he's still the man making the throws and more importantly the decision to make the throws.
  16. Punting time. The Bears just cannot put all 3 phases of the game together at the same time.
  17. Another bad Cutler throw

  19. Did Cutler kick the field goals? No but he led the drives. OK, OK 10-6
  20. When they score Cutler will be losing this game 14-6 by himself
  21. This is just an extremely ugly game for the Bears,
  22. There are always excuses as to why he throws the INT, but the bottom line is he's making dangerous throws constantly and he's getting burned badly tonight on there.
  23. That's 11 INTs in 2.75 night games this year. He increases his INT lead to 3 over Delhomme (16-13)
  24. The good news is, when Forte's career is over, he might have a decent career on "Dancing With the Stars"
  25. That's not a fair comparison and you know it. Orton has better receivers and a better o-line. Cutler has a pretty mediocre group of WR's playing pretty well. Yes, he's made his share of mistakes, but the fact remains. I don't disagree with what you wrote but it has nothing to do with what I said. I said Orton is better than what you guys thought when he was traded and Cutler is worse. I'm with you guys on the latter. I thought Cutler was great and sided with him on the whole debacle of an offseason for Denver (why be somewhere you're not wanted). However he is proving to be a gunslinger who never learned to not force it all the time because he got away with it with the WR's he had in Denver. He is still a very good QB but unless he adjusts isn't the great pre-annual pro bowler most thought he was (and Orton is the scrub most thought). Jesus Christ. The O-Line is terrible and there's no running game. Stop underestimating what kind of impact that has on a passing game. Dude, the QB is the only one responsible for his performance.
