  1. Cutler's first head scratching throw of the day lands safely on the ground.
  2. C'mon Forte this isn't dancing with the stars.
  3. If he's confident his punter can keep it out of the end zone, I think it's a good call. Hester makes a lot of mistakes inside the 10 yard line. He regularly fair catches punts inside the 10.
  4. Lets get some pressure come on.
  5. I jumped over to a Seahawks board after the TD and they were calling the Bears fans classless for singing along to the anthem. Luckily some guy corrected them that this is what the Blackhawks do as a tradition. Wow 2 commercials on a single injury. Not good. Hope he's ok.
  6. BEAR DOWN CHICAGO BEARS MAKE EVERY PLAY CLEAR THE WAY TO VICTORY! BEAR DOWN CHICAGO BEARS PUT UP A FIGHT WITH A MIGHT SO FEARLESSLY WELL NEVER FORGET THE WAY YOU THRILLED THE NATION WITH YOUR T FORMATION BEAR DOWN CHICAGO BEARS AND LET THEM KNOW WHY YOURE WEARING THE CROWN YOURE THE PRIDE AND JOY OF ILLINOIS CHICAGO BEARS BEAR DOWN
  7. TAKE THAT FIRST PLAYOFF GAME CRITICS
  8. I love you all. Except Packer fans and mhuber Edit: And sneaky and hawkeye Double Edit: And erik alone as well as as a Packer fan
  9. I hope he's not the only Packer who thinks that. I don't believe Cutler really wanted to play at his best. He did just what Grossman did in 2006. Knox looked like he wasn't trying. And the Bears were without Earl Bennett. The sad thing is, I think Knox was trying. I think he really wanted the 1,000 yard season. I think he was trying too hard if anything and that threw him off.
  10. what the hell do the Bears deserve? they've seemingly played virtually every team with their 2nd, 3rd string QBs. if not for some weird process rule, they'd have missed the playoffs altogether. And if the refs saw cutler clearly cross tue end zone before fumbling the Bears are back in the playoffs. And if the bears won handily over Detroit like the yardage showed they'd be 12-4.
  11. Cutler knows how to run a 2 minute offense. He's had to do it quite often with this Bears team, and probably quite often with his former team. 1 play was snapped between the 3:00 and the 2:00 minute warning. 1 play with 70 yards to go. Enough time to get down the field easily, but there was no sense of urgency at all. I just can't find another explanation than the one I provided above. Even if they score, you're looking at the potential for overtime, which is maybe the entire reason they didn't hurry things up at all. In my mind, I'm almost certain the Bears would have went for 2 if they scored. But lets stop talking about the Packers until we need to. There's kind of a much more important thing to worry about in 2 hours, and a team that's ready to stop us if we aren't focused. Not to say that us talking about GB has anything to do with it, but it just looks stupid if we lose and bad karma.
  12. At least one Packer thinks he saw the real Bears offense in Week 17:
  13. Maybe, but Cardinals-Eagles, a very similar type of matchup got really bad ratings 2 years ago.
  14. Interesting that this story was written this week. We all compared the Bears last game of the season against the Packers with the Giants/Pats game a few years ago. Many of us observed that the offense was doing things they hadn't done since before the bye, and it led to their offensive ineptitude. Now there's this from the Giants. It's nothing revealing or shocking, but it proves that teams do stuff like this because there is nothing to gain by playing to win with the same gameplan you plan on playing in the playoffs.
  15. We'll see. I seem to remember the Bears doing exactly that 2 weeks ago with everything on the line for GB and nothing for Chicago, a week after GB scored 40+ points against another team with everything on the line. I think that Chicago's D is not a great matchup for the Packers offense. The Packers led by Rodgers have scored more than 21 points in a game against the Bears only once, way back in 2008 when they scored 27. That was also the only time Rodgers has had a QB rating over 100 against the Bears. Don't get me wrong, he hasn't had one stinker against the Bears (almost all his game ratings have been in the 80s or low 90s) but compared to what he does against other teams, the Bears have held him and the Packers offense in check. Even last year when our defense was terrible. If the Bears and Packers play next week, I think it will be a game where the winning team scores in the low 20s and the losing team scorers in the high teens. Lets get to that point first though.
  16. Weren't you the guy talking about how mediocre the Falcons really were yesterday?
  17. I guess what I'm saying is that the Packers don't necessarily scare me. They started to, but that last game against us got me really confident that we can play them. Don't get me wrong, they are a formidable opponent that we could easily lose to, but I'm not exactly shaking in my boots and giving the Bears no chance. They have a lot of chance. I kinda wish the Bears played first. I'm sure the players aren't in this mindset, but now all I can think about and speculate about is a potential Bears/Packers NFC title game. I have to remind myself that the Bears still have a huge game tomorrow against a team that could very well beat us.
  18. I say we just throw the game tomorrow. No sense in letting the Packers get to the Super Bowl by beating us on our own turf, amirite?
  19. Gotta appreciate Miami's shot selection down the stretch. I believe they took a 3 pointer in all of the last 5 possessions. They made the first 3 but you live by the 3, you die by the 3.
  20. The Bears can get pressure on Rodgers that is a huge key in beating us (well any team but especially us). I don't think Green Bay will be rolling over the Bears. This one still isn't over though. lol neither is tomorrows game
  21. If the Bears win 124-0 tomorrow, the Packers will still be favored next week.
  22. LMAO Well, you know what they say. A leopard can't change his stripes, or whatever the hell it is. Seriously erik, please shut up with that. I've made my point. Back to the game. What was the point you were making, that you are socially awkward?
  23. Only the Packers would stumble into these penalties.
  24. When did the Packer contingent adopt sulley as their mentor?
  25. I've discovered from watching the first few minutes of this game that I am cheering for the Falcons. I think I'd rather play at Soldier Field but not enough to cheer for the Packers again.
