When the Cubs get the leadoff man on, I have no belief that they'll score. When the opponents do, its only a matter of time before they are touching home.

I cant tell if the Bulls are actually going to do a full rebuild, or maybe just a rebuild where they tell everyone its a retool (cant remember where Ive heard that before), or think that by making a few moves they can still compete for the playoffs.

I didn't even realize he was back on the roster until he stepped up to the plate. Apparently he's been back up for over a week? And Tauchman is on the IL? No wonder I havent seen much from him recently. Miles Mastrobuoni on 5/11/24 in a game started by Paul Skenes: 3-4 1 BB 1 2B 1 RBI 2 runs scored Miles Mastrobuoni in 2024 outside of the 5/11/24 game: 2-39 4 BB 0 XBH 1 RBI 3 runs scored .051/.140/.051/.191 I know its a small sample size of 43 PA or whatever and you cant just remove a player's best game, but a .191 OPS for him this season outside of that one magical afternoon is incredible in the most negative way possible.

For me at least they became fun bad maybe 2 weeks ago. Watching them make 3 outs on the bases yesterday, including getting picked off to end the 6th and 8th innings in a 1 run game was hilarious.

Since the Mexico game and NBA draft are over, I decided to flip to this game for the first time tonight and immediately see Morel get picked off on a back pick from the catcher and immediately flipped to another channel. Yeah no thanks I’m good

Rough for Ukraine.... all 4 teams in Group E finish with 4 points, and there will surely be at least 1-2 teams that advance with less than 4 points, but they won't because they finished 4th in the group due to GD.

Dude don’t watch this team unless you’re bored or it’s on in the background when doing something else. Certainly don’t sacrifice anything in your life to watch them.

I have no idea how the stats people keep posting about the bullpen show them only being slightly below average or whatever. I know they stabilized for a bit there outside of some very bad late inning collapses but man this pen is so so bad, even worse with the injuries

The Cubs are worse than even the most negative of us expected before the season started. Pretty impressive. assuming they don’t come back (and who an expect them to score a single run?), their season pace will be 75-87
