Do the Cubs fail on the contact play so often because they hit too many ground balls? Or at least the hitters that are coming up in these situations?

I don’t understand why we don’t send down Mastro for Vazquez. Maybe he won’t hit here but Mastro has a .421 OPS so not like he has a high bar to clear. He’s good defensively (or so I’m told) and he’s on the 40 man

Maybe the Ricketts will decide to spend more when he sees how much beer sales have dropped by having an offense that quickly gets out every inning. in reality he’ll balance that by downgrading our pitching to try to get more 11-9 type games

Obviously not at all against trading for good players but feel like they should focus on areas of need unless they felt like someone like Wicks can be very effective out of the bullpen.
