lol the end of FSU/Virginia was insane 11 seconds left, FSU down 1 looking at a 47 yard FG for the win, instead they run a play towards the sidelines, and the officials ruled that it was a completion and the guy did not go out of bounds, so the time ran out and Virginia "won". But they reviewed the catch and it was definitely incomplete, so they reset the clock to 8 seconds left. Then when trying the FG, their O-line jumped and flags were thrown. They were looking at a 10 second runoff because of it which would end the game, but the officials threw the flag on the defense for barking out signals trying to make the offense jump. So a 47 yard FG became a 42 yard FG. Well you can guess what happened next, FSU's kicker missed the FG to end the game.

It is correct. UCLA won't beat USC, though. I havent watched any UCLA games this season, but I just remember a mediocre UCLA squad beating a USC team that was in line for the Title game back in 2006.

And....gives up a 3rd goal a minute later and is pulled less than 8 minutes into the game. Thats 8 goals given up in 67 minutes or so this weekend

Ugh, for some reason I hate when jerseys and pants are the same color unless white or grey. I can't stand it when the Bears do their Navy/Navy combo as well.

You don't think that more people would watch a bowl game with all the talk, however bad, of Penn State instead of someone like Iowa? I guess attendance would be a bigger issue though.

So Big Ten Bowl Projections after this week. This is the first time I've ever done something like this so apologize if I'm missing something obvious. Also, Obvious Wisconsin is still eligible for the Rose Bowl, I'm just basing it off the current standings. Rose Bowl: Michigan State/Penn State vs. Pac 12 Champion/BCS At-Large (Stanford if Oregon makes NC game?) BCS Bowl: Michigan vs. BCS selection Capital One: Wisconsin vs. SEC Outback: Michigan State/Penn State loser vs. SEC Gator Bowl: Nebraska vs. SEC Insight Bowl: Iowa vs. Big 12 Meineke Car Care: Ohio State vs. Big 12 Ticket City: Illinois vs. C-USA or Big 12 Little Cesars: Northwestern/Purdue vs. MAC If Purdue wins next week (against Indiana), someone's gonna get left out, unless there is some at large scenario I'm not aware of. Edit: I guess its likely that a Big Ten team would sub in for Army and the Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl since Army isnt bowl eligible.

This will definitely be the most excited I've been for Michigan Ohio State since 2006. And although there's something in the back of my head that keeps saying to worry, I have to feel pretty confident at home against an Ohio State team simply trying to avoid a 6-6 season (if they lose to PSU)

Top exciting on the field moments since Carr in chronological order: 1 Random inexplicable comeback vs. Wisconsin 2008 2 Tate Forcier's game winning TD drive vs. ND 2009 3 Denard Robinson's first 6 games of 2010 4 Denard's Hail Mary fest vs. ND 2011 5 This Those were all exciting moments, but this feels like we've finally turned a corner. You know every one of us was thinking "here we go again..." when we lost to Iowa, but then we come back with 2 great wins against Illinois and Nebraska. I don't think sneaky was...he's remained pretty optimistic. I know I was probably saying negative things after that game, but it was clear, mostly because of the defense that this team was much better than the previous 3 years, mostly because their defense actually existed. Little brothers getting all excited:) Well yeah they did just clinch a Big Ten Title game berth. Good for them! Gotta take some of the pain away from having the 2nd best BBall recruiting class in the state next year.
