God Hanie, that's a 40 yard gain you just fucked up.

I don't think he would ever allow Gould to take a 57 yard FG unless it was in Denver, with both offenses horrible so that 3 points is a big deal and a miss doesn't hurt that much despite giving them good field position.

Why not attempt a 56 yard FG? A make sadly puts a dagger in the game. Even if he misses the Broncos arent moving the ball. The last couple of times Robbie has attempted a FG over 50, he's cleared it by a couple of yards.

Maybe. Did they show video of him throwing or something? Because I could see a difference in thumb use between lobbing some passes 8-10 yards to see how the thumb responds, and throwing crisp lasers 20 yards down the field.

3 false starts on 3rd down for the Bears. 2 on Garza Haha and then another penalty on the line on 3rd down as Hanie makes another awful pass. 2 awful passes in this 3 and out.

Yeah they have their 3rd string RB running slants so that they have a chance to complete passes.

Lombardi was on Simmons podcast this week and he suggested that Cutler is the leagues MVP for the way he was able to make that crappy ass offense that is ignored by the GM and turning it into something that was actually starting to become slightly above average.

Nice...a fair catch at the 9 yard line. At that point you might as well take the risk of downing it at the one with the possible benefit of getting a touchback. Not that it mattered with the penalty

Cutler really needs to find a way to come back from the GB game. Not that we'll win even with him but it will save us the embarassment of being shutout by one of the league's worst pass D's

Haha, another false start on 3rd and short. Beautiful This is what I mean about the Bears just playing stupid football and making idiotic mistakes that shouldnt happen since Cutler's been out. They continually shoot themselves in the foot. It's quite amazing actually.
