that was an easy completion if knox doesn't fall down. My only qualm is that he shouldnt have been passing in that situation. When you pass you risk things like that happening, and the field has been slick all game. It wasn't a horrible game call because the Bears were in rhythm pssing the ball, but I would have preferred to run and at worst get a 45 yard FG attempt to make it a 2 TD game. Which could be a miss. We needed more points. I'm OK running the full offense in that situation. Yeah like i said, its not necessarily a dangerous play call. I personally prefer to play it safe there. Gould from 45 is pretty safe.

I think it was 2nd and 6 from the 30. I'm pretty sure it was on the 3rd but could be wrong on down and distance.

He should be....he had to scratch and claw them all the way down the field to get in FG range only to have the Chargers end up with it in the red zone. WOO HOO!!!!

Should have been running the ball and killing clock and kicking a FG. Way too many pass calls given the situation. This sucks. 3 points with 2 more minutes off the clock is much safer and almost as good as 7 quicker scored points. Almost

Just keep moving that clock down, but don't play too conservative.

RE: the bolded, I'm trying to recall this ever happening that didn't involve the jumping team playing in a conference title game, and I got nothing. OSU plays OU on the same weekend as all the championship games. If they impress I can see the jump happening. I am not sure there is going to be as much of an anti-rematch push as there was in 06 with Michigan though. Yeah, because of SEC bias. In 2006 it was about adding a SEC team, this is about taking out an SEC team.

I said earlier that the Bears should be able to get pressure only rushing 4 and not blitzing, but maybe I was wrong.

It's crazy too...we've been really unbalanced between running and passing. 23 passes for 238 yards 15 rushes for 35 yards
