So we need to lose some games to drop in the standings?

That is the one thing that swings the percentages...from 0% to something? Ask yourself how last years team fared. Then ask yourself what has changed from last seasons team to this seasons team. When you answer the question, you then form a logical opinion. Well a much more efficient offense is one thing.

He was terrible. Not surprised and his stats showed he was but still, I'm happy that he should have time to get into rhythm by the playoffs, that is if he doesn't get hurt again and still can be a productive player on that kind of stage. He made a ton of lazy ass passes in the game that were stolen out of mid air by Rockets. In one stretch just before halftime he tried to throw a cross court pass that was easily grabbed by a Rocket for an easy layup on the other end, and then immediately after Rip was inbounding and for some reason tried to pass the ball to Lucas who was at half court and must have forgotten that Lucas isnt 6'6'' and overthrew him for another TO that was quickly turned into another 2 points. Ugly. The Bulls for some reason made a lot of lazy cross court passes and almost all of them were picked off by the Rockets. It was like 2009 Jay Cutler was out there trying to desperately get the ball to Greg Olsen.

Oh ok, the Heat are just coasting towards the playoffs, and the Bulls are making every game life or death. Got it. I just want to know, what did you specifically see tonight from that Bulls to set you off on this ridiculous rant?

Awesome. It's going to be "Awesome" when you guys rage after the Heat off the Bulls in the playoffs and you start saying the same things I'm saying now. I'm pretty sure at this point that you want the Bulls/Bears to lose horrifically so that your ridiculous negativity is by pure chance proven correct. I mean seriously the Heat are getting blown out 3 times in the past 10 games with their full roster and that's the team the Bulls can't beat?

My guess is Sunday. After today we have 2 days off, a game, and then 2 more days off. No sense in rushing him back for the game on Thursday with 2 more days off after that.

Well at least we got a point out of our last home game. I hate shootouts though. 98 points with 2 to play and the good news is that only getting 1 point hurts our odds of finishing 5th or 4th.

Hawks not doing a great job of proving that they don't have a terrible defense and goaltending.

Thanks for the positivity. I don't particularly think the Hawks are going to make a run, but I don't think there is a favorite at this point in the West. Detroit is struggling big time, St. Louis has started to struggle and just lost by 3 goals to Columbus tonight, Vancouver is rounding into form but we all know of the mental problems they tend to have. I definitely think the Hawks can get by Dallas but will have trouble with SJ or LA. I still think the Hawks have a better shot against those 2 than Detroit and Nashville. The defense and goaltending are below average but have been better lately. As much as we rag on Keith (and rightfully so) he does bring some value to the defense, just not 1st defensive pairing value. Getting him back and getting Toews' 2 way game back (hopefully) should help with that. Crawford has either been pretty good or terrible this year, with the later being more common. But if he comes in hot like he did in the playoffs last year, anything can happen.

Alright I'll take it! Blowing a 4-0 lead sucks but the Preds are just annoying and will do that. Hawks clinch a playoff spot and tie the number of points they scored last year with 3 games left. They are now tied with Detroit for the 5 seed (but Detroit has the extra game) and 1 point behind Nashville for the 4 seed (even in games played). I think the 6 seed is still the most desirable. I want nothing to do with a Hawks/Predators matchup, and while a Hawks/Wings matchup might be beneficial if Jimmy Howard is hurt, I feel like there is still a bit of a mental block with Detroit. Plus, despite good results this year, the Wings still matchup pretty well against the Hawks and play a similar style of hockey. My friend is at the game and he said this is one of the loudest arenas he's ever been to. It does seem really loud on TV.

4-0 lead, I thought it was about over so I concentrated more on the basketball game. Flipped back over a few minutes later and saw the lead cut in half. Ugh. Nashville will never die.

I've lost Ramirez (actual jersey won from NSBB), Lee and Harden (wtf was I thinking). Still ok with Soto and Marmol thankfully.
