maybe stamkos See there might be players you could argue are better or have more value (like Giroux, Stamkos, Malkin, Crosby), but even if I were to agree, the difference in talent is not much and not enough to overcome the emotional attachment that Toews has built in Chicago. It's like LeBron is better than Rose, but most Bulls fans wouldnt trade Rose for LeBron. But the gap between Rose and LeBron is even bigger IMO than Toews and someone like Stamkos

Just like I said before the game.....Thursday Cubs, Sox, Bulls, Blackhawks all lose. Saturday Cubs (a miracle like any Cubs win), Sox (with a perfect game), Bulls (Rose is back and beat defending champs), and Hawks (Tazer) all win. Also, [expletive] the White Sox but it fits the pattern.

Tazer did everything on that play. He is so really good at the sport of hockey. Thank God, with the Bulls having 3 days off I'm glad I have something enormous to look forward to on Monday. Prediction for Monday: 5-3 Hawks....like I said before the game, the Hawks just can't lose all 3 home games in this series. The Hawks will feel like they have momentum, the Coyotes will keep being reminded of how they've never won a series in Phoenix and start to feel the weight on their shoulders.

7 Also interesting is they went to the playoffs playing an OT game in 6 of their final 8 games. So if they get to OT here that will be 11 of their last 13 games going to OT

Dammit, what a shitty way to kill our momentum by getting a power play. I think Phoenix did that on purpose because they sensed we were getting something going

The Coyotes block so many shots, but then again that's because the Hawks fling shots right at them. I don't know if they think the shots will randomly go through them, or deflect towards the net, but it seems like a low percentage play at best.

This playoff series really puts a damper on his breakout season, because he's been pathetically bad.

How much of our offensive ineptitude is on us and how much is Smith admittedly being pretty damn good. One things for sure, the Hawks of 2 years ago would have made Smith cry by the end of the series.

yup thats been the problem all series...we cant get any cushion between us and Phoenix. The Hawks have outshot them every game, and in 3 of the games the difference in SOG was more than 10, but we're down 3-1. For some reason the Hawks just take the worst shots...I know its part of their strategy to fling it on net and hope for a redirect/rebound, but the Hawks are not physical enough to be in the position to take advantage of a good rebound most of the time.

4 straight minutes of power play and of course nothing to show from it. We aren't going to come back from down 3-1 without ever scoring on the PP. I cant wait for this season to be over.

2 nights ago was a terrible night for Chicago sports as all 4 teams in action lost. Today so far the Cubs won, the White Sox won with a perfect game, the bulls have started up well against Dallas and Rose is back.... Good sign! I think if the Hawks can get the OT goal tonight this series will go 7. I can't see the Hawks losing at home 3 times in one series. Also the Hawks are due for one of those scoring outbursts they are known for. Hopefully that's tonight. Maybe I'm just being a homer but I think the Hawks win tonight, something like 5-3 with Smith getting pulled in the 2nd after giving up 5 goals and the Hawks withstanding a couple Phoenix goals in the 3rd.
