Ugh Havent seen anyone else talking about this so its possible SI is making something out of nothing here. http://sportsillustrated.cnn.com/2012/daily-jolt/09/10/daily-jolt-monday/index.html#ixzz264l8k0eQ

Ahh, the value of an elite receiver, right Jerry Angelo?
-
We'll see. The Bears defense seems to often, but not always, rise to the occasion against GB, so I think we have a decent enough shot at winning. But yes, the Packers absolutely do not want to start the season by losing consecutive home games. They are definitely the more desperate team here.

I'm not sure why anyone would be surprised about Cutler's comments being sports talk fodder. As soon as I heard his press conference, I figured we would hear about that all day. At least it shuts up the Urlacher talk. I have absolutely no problem with Cutler's comments or how he said it, but I can totally see non-Bears fans who don't see Cutler talk on a weekly basis thinking his comments sounded douchy, especially the way he sounded while making them. But then again, those are the people who irrationally hate Cutler because ESPN told them to.
-
Personally, I didn't think Urlacher was all that bad. As I said during the game, he was closing in on RBs and WRs with his usual quickness and he was dropping back quickly as well, although I didnt notice a lot of sideline to sideline movement, which is something people expected him struggle with.

Because they don't have to spend 3 years with Johnny Knox as their go to receiver?

Minor League Playoff Discussion & Boxes 9-9-12
UMFan83 replied to CaliforniaRaisin's topic in Cubs Minor League Talk
Ugh. This game has been crazy so far, maybe Boise has one run left in them. -
I think the Bears are owed a lot of TOs from the last couple of years if the rule is that you don't get charged a TO with the clock stopped. All those plays where Cutler called a TO with the play clock running down. we got screwed!!
-
There was a pass interference call just a second ago...it was funny because Edwards (the intended receiver) started walking back to the huddle with his head down, mad that he couldnt make the catch, when all the sudden he realizes he got a flag. Not used to seeing pass interference called when the receiver isnt crying for it. And wow did they botch the 3rd TO thing just now. Embarassing. Paul Tagliabue is turning over in his grave.
-
I would think so since the other team went 15-1 in the regular season last year. Maybe you call them even in terms of skill, but since the Packers were at home, they would be the favorites, thus making a 49ers win an upset.
-
Hah, would be awesome to send the Packers to 0-2 with 2 home losses on Thursday.
-
I don't think he was talking about luck the QB....
-
Wow, that was un-Rodgers like

It's a Jake free weekend!

Marmol is Marmoling

This will be a damn good measuring stick game.......for the Packers ;)

Jennings is a [expletive] superstar
-
The announcers want to say that Luck and Cutler have played to a draw, they just can't quite blurt it out, so I can't call them idiots yet.
-
Bill Belichick wouldnt punt here.
-
Shea has done nothing. Dline probably the worst part of the team today. No pressure all day. They actually got a ton of pressure the first 2 Colts drives of the game. But not much else since then.
-
Lovie actually wins a challenge and then he gets cocky.
-
Bears bringing in some reserves on defense. Good call, we need to get everyone rested and healthy for Thursday.
-
So much for the Bills being everyone's surprise team.
-
Alright Hayden. Still not forgiven for the SB but its a start.
-
31-7* Bears! *pretending that the pick 6 never happened because I can so shut up
