  1. This team could have easily scored 60 today too considering the fumble turnover by Cutler late in the 1st when the Bears were at the 15 yard line or so, and then of course the 4th and goal inside the 10 on that last possession in the 4th when they decided to run out the clock instead of running up the score.
  2. taking a look at Cutler in his postgame PC, this mustache thing is going to provide even more unintentional comedy than I originally thought.

  4. I still see 4-2 in those 6 games. Split the next 2, beat Minny and Seattle at home, split the @Minny and GB stretch
  5. 96.47 Yes but he's still way too moody in those games to be successful.
  6. Fox seems to think we are a lock to blow our 31 point lead and lose this game as theyve already chalked up a loss for us in this one.
  7. Boo....51-12 looked a lot sexier than 51-20
  8. Maybe we can give Mike Tice another promotion.
  9. Wonderful clock management LSU This game was a lot more entertaining than last year's game (both of them)
  10. Meh...some nights we're just not going to be able to come up with enough offense to win. The last couple of years we could survive poor shooting nights but that's not always going to be the case this year. Also, due to the lack of depth compared to last year, its gonna be harder to win the 2nd of back to backs.
  11. Nevermind, the kicker choked. wow...what a game.
  12. Lesson here is never cheer for Sparty. Does Nebraska have anyone good left?
  13. Wow ND might lose their magical season on a fumble at the 1 foot line. Amazing.
  14. Dammit I wanted to talk about the Knicks.
  15. The person who constantly says borderline trolling things to rile up Bulls fans is.
  16. As much as I hate to admit it, N&G wins quite a few threads. When he perfectly straddles the line between critic and douchebag, he can be entertaining in threads like this.
  17. Or it was never a straight up deal to begin with and the Angels want more than we want to give up. I don't know about that. When they are asking players to waive their NTC's and one of the traded players (Marmol) is commenting on the trade, you have to think the particulars have been decided right? Marmol doesn't seem to care, but you risk a Lamar Odom by getting the players involved too early.
  18. Well that's quite embarrassing. Not pleased with Theo on this one...
  19. wow nice. It should be a fun 1/2 season with him in the rotation. Definitely surprised that this deal happened. And if its just Marmol thats amazing. On a related note, thank you Marmol for 7.....interesting years. From a wildly inconsistent starter forced into the rotation by a crapload of injuries to an elite dominating middle reliever to a wildly inconsistent closer...its been fun.
  20. **WARNING BILL SIMMONS RANT** The Sports Guy has changed his opinion of the Bears roughly 15 times this year. First he picks the Bears to make the playoffs and talks up how the Bears were one of the top 3 teams in the conference and a sleeper Super Bowl pick before Cutler got hurt last year. Then he decides the Colts are the perfect team to beat the Bears in week 1. Then after the Bears blew them out and GB lost to SF, he excitedly picked the Bears to win in week 2, saying they might be ready to take over the north. The Bears looked terrible and lost, so he started asking questions in his podcast like 'are we sure the bears are good and not good-bad?'. The Bears blow out the Rams, Cowboys and Jags, and suddenly he's including the Bears amongst his elite teams in the league, talking about how the defense is one of the elite units in the NFL and called them a playoff lock and almost wanted to call the NFC North race over when the Bears were 4-1 and the Packers 2-3. Before the Detroit game he said something about how if the Bears were really a super bowl contender, they would take care of the Lions handily on MNF. OK the offense wasn't great, but I think anyone who watched that game would say the Bears took care of the Lions handily. Well that didn't sway Bill yet, since he was still high on the Bears going into the Carolina game. However, after that crap of a win, Bills tune has changed yet again, and he was saying things like 'i just dont know what to think of the Bears anymore, are they really all that great?' and now he is picking the Titans +3.5 over the Bears. Nothing that I wrote above is really outrageous, but its extremely fickle and way too influenced by a single game here and there.
  21. The Colts would've been better to use there than the Seahawks. Seahawks are NFC tho They are? Whoops. the Bears have knocked them out of the playoffs 2 times in 6 years. I'm pretty sure David was referring to an inside joke from a few weeks back.
  22. James Harden with 37 points, 12 assists and 6 rebounds in his debut as a Rocket
  23. Wait you cant buy your way to a championship? Well I guess we should wait to see how the season plays out for the Kobe, Gasol, Nash, and Dwight. You are acting like the luxury tax is some legitimate barrier that teams dont cross all of the time, especially the teams that make $50 million in profits every year.
