So let me understand this....the Big Ten will now have 2 seven team divisions. They play 8 conference games. This will consist of the other 6 teams in the division, their protected game, and one other game against the other side of the conferece. So this means that Michigan will be playing Wisconsin once every 6 years (excluding big ten title game)? So much for the sense of community among Big Ten members. If we go to 16 teams, does a team like Michigan just stop playing Wisconsin, Penn State, Indiana and Purdue (and Maryland and Rutgers)? Or do they stop playing Ohio State so that they have a chance to play the other half of the league occasionally? Would they go to 9 conference games?
