    2 Bears were named 1st Team All-Pros: WR Brandon Marshall and CB Charles Tillman. Peppers and Jennings were named to the 2nd team.

    Divisional opponent count: Detroit 4 (2/2) Columbus 4 (2/2) St. Louis 5 (2 home/3 road) Nashville 5 (3 home/2 road) Knew we couldn't get Columbus as a 5 gamer. Not looking forward to 3 trips to St. Louis. Looks like we will be seeing the following NBC games based on the weekend afternoon starts: 1/19 @ LA 2/17 vs LA 3/3 @ DET 3/31 @ DET 4/14 @ STL 4 road games and 1 home game geez

    It's pretty crazy that the Bulls are tied with OKC and San Antonio for the best road record in the NBA.

    Just a random rant, but the Bulls should not be allowed to wear their black jerseys against the Knicks, Heat, Lakers, Celtics and whenever the Pistons are good.

    I personally hope that Emery is not influenced by fan, media or even peer reaction and hires the best candidate he thinks is available. I hope there is more than one voice at the table on this one. emery said over and over at the PC, and i mean over and over, that his wouldn't be the only voice. a lot Well of course I hope he confers with members of his staff (although I ultimately hope he makes the final decision). I'm talking about reaction from outside sources.

    So its looking like Hawks @ Kings next Saturday.. It's looking like they are trying to put together marquee matchups for most of the league... Pens/Flyers Leafs/Habs Wings/Blues Rangers/Bruins Devils/Islanders (ok but 2 NY area teams) Ducks/Canucks Avs/Wild

    I'm assuming they mean that all the crap Jay Cutler got for not coming back into the game with an MCL Strain caused Griffin to force himself to stay in the game or something like that. But thats a hilarious screen cap.

    Interesting. I am all for franchises staying where they currently are and I like the Kings in Sacramento, but I like NBA basketball in Seattle more. Also would be fun to see all the Seattle fans who got burned by Bennett have to turn around and celebrate another franchise being uprooted for them.

    If anyone cares, theres an insider article from Football Outsiders addressing what 3 near playoff teams (Bears, Cowboys, Giants) need to compete in 2013. I thought it was odd that they chose receivers as the Bears biggest need. I get that BMarsh was relyed on way too heavily, and that the Bears need more WRs, but its far from their biggest hole. We have a Pro Bowl #1 WR, and a very promising tall athletic WR (Jeffery) that was pretty good to finish the year despite obvious rookie mistakes. Earl Bennett is a sold #4 WR. So we need a better slot guy, assuming Jeffery can improve on his promise. Meanwhile the OLine is in shambles. Oh well...

    You forgot Jim Cornelison's National Anthem in your pros list. Great jerseys True...just the tradition of cheering throughout the National Anthem is awesome. Just watch this video if you want to be a Hawks fan: Even though I think that's Mesmer pre-throat shooting and not Cornelison who wasn't a regular until much later.

    Red Wings sold 100.7% of their seats last year, 98.1% the year before and 97.4% the year before that. Blues were at 98.2% last year, 100.0% the year before and 98.6% the year before that.
