  1. Wasn't McCoy's interview supposed to be yesterday? I don't see any news about it.
  2. Off topic, but I still can't believe Skip and Rick are brothers. Chicago definitely got the better Bayless. The scary thing is that for a short time we had both Baylesses (pre Skips ESPN 'fame')
  3. Not very high on Villenueva?
  4. 6 days in and were still adding candidates. I should check my email to see if I'm getting an interview.
  5. Good game so far between Michigan and Iowa. Michigan starting to score at will but Iowa is mostly keeping up with them hitting some big shots to stay in it. Edit: And as I say that Michigan finishes the half on an 8-0 run to take an 11 point halftime lead
  6. If there is no conference games I could see them doing all 6 divisional games (24) and then 3 games against 6 of the 10 other teams in the conference (18 games) and then 2 against the other 4 teams (8 games). Or I guess they could say 4 games against the division (16 games) and 4 against 4 conference foes (16 games) and 3 against the other 6 teams (18 games). I'm guessing they won't go to an odd number of games against teams in the division so its either 4 or 6 most likely.
  7. They are talking about either a 48 or 50 game season. I'm guessing 4 games in division (16 games), 2 games against the rest of the conference (20 games) and a game against 14 of the 15 out of conference teams. Or the could cut back to barely playing the opposite conference and have teams play a 3rd game against some or all non divisional conference teams.
  8. Sorry I got excited. A shortened season should be good for the Hawks who are still depth challenged. I don't care where they finish in the top 8, just get a playoff spot and bring on the playoffs!
  9. Hockey hockey hockey hockey!!
  10. Most important thing I took from that article is that the Miami team is called the HEAT not the Heat.
  11. I like him because he coaches the actual sport that the Bears play.
  12. Watt is a [expletive] monster.
  13. Thank you to the Big ten for beating each other up. Illinois, Michigan State and Ohio State already with conference losses. Of course I say this and Michigan will come out and lose at home to Iowa tomorrow.
  14. NBC just confirmed that Ponder is inactive. Not sure how this changes the Vikings chances tonight.
  15. The Moises Alouettes The Moistest Alouettes. Get it? Because he pees on his hands.
  16. This will be considerably helpful when the NFL changes to a 3 down system and lengthens and widens the field.
  17. Haha. Wait you mean that this win doesn't mean we will beat the Heat in a 7 game series regardless of whether Derrick Rose plays? What a buzz kill.
  18. 44-16 against the rest of the NBA, 0-3 against the Bulls hah
  19. Damn Michigan is fun to watch. As someone who started following UM hoops in 1998 (their last tourney appearance for 11 years), and waited through a decade of either terrible seasons or painful bubble bursting finishes (2004 NIT champs!), this is really rewarding. I also think Trey Burke has replaced Louis Bullock as my favorite UM player since I started watching them.
  20. Insane to complain about a coach who can adapt to the pieces he is given. Especially given the fact that we will still probably have a bad offensive line next year and the fact that the Bears are 1-6 without Cutler the last 2 seasons.
  21. I don't know of any other FAs out there looking for Jackson money that would fit with us. It would be hard to take those quotes as anything other than Bourn. Edit: Also, thanks for sharing
  22. Yeah, that's he had so much success with such varied QB's is really impressive. He's definitely my #1. To illustrate how different the offense was over the 3 years... 2012 (Manning): Total Yards - 4th Passing Yards - 5th Rushing Yards - 16th 2011 (Orton/Mostly Tebow) Total Yards - 23rd Passing Yards - 31st Rushing Yards - 1st 2010 (Orton mostly) Total Yards - 13th Passing Yards - 7th Rushing Yards - 26th He turned the 26th ranked rushing offense into the best rushing offense when given a QB with a limited arm, and then back into a top passing offense the next year.
  23. I like the idea of Bruce Arians mainly because he won a Super Bowl as the OC with a poor offensive line. The stuff he did this year was nice too.
  24. Penn State has one coach since the 60's, and then 2 in back to back years.
