Yeah...hes only 12 innings behind him, but not that wins mean anything but Shota has 7, Steele just got his 1st on Friday. But their numbers look pretty similar

FIP: Steele - 3.33, Shota - 3.39
WHIP - Steele - 0.99, Shota 1.10
K/9 - Steele - 8.7, Shota 9.1
bWAR - Steele 1.5, Shota 1.7
I know there's much better metrics out there, just doing a quick BR glance..
They've both had their ERAs propped up by a high number of UERs (Steele 7, Shota 6). Honestly either one would have been fine, Steele has slightly better numbers but Shota has more IP and is a slightly better story.
