  1. Watching Michigan run the football and then the Bears defend the run on back to back days, it's like I'm watching different sports.
  2. So the refs suck and the Bears run D is terrible as expected.
  3. Earl Bennett is inactive
  4. Interesting that the Packers have all 3 QBs active today. Perhaps they aren't sold on Rodgers being 100%.
  5. I hate Twitter. Because of it I learned today that Rodgers has the second best winning percentage against the bears ever, Cutler has the lowest winning percentage against the packers, and Rodgers has the highest QBR in December/January of any QB in history.
  6. Man what a [expletive] year for Michigan.
  7. That would be nice for the defense to allow the least amount of points this season in such a crucial game. Especially after averaging 35.6 points allowed the last 5 weeks.
  8. What a horrible collapse and loss. Blues own us this year. 4 points behind us with 4 games in hand. Of course part of me is just manufacturing anger because it's been such a boring regular season. But upsetting to lose a game we had a 5-3 lead with 3:50 left.
  9. Collapse. 2 goal lead gone in a minute. Don't let the Blues go 3-0-0 against us this year.
  10. Ho hum just 10 goals in their last 4 periods.
  11. He had hip surgery well before he was named Cubs manager. He did his first PC over the phone and then came to Chicago last month to do some press and was in a wheelchair, still recovering.
  12. Discussed on the last page. Only 5 Pro Bowlers for the entire NFC north. 2 in Chicago and Detroit and 1 for Minnesota, 0 for Green Bay
  13. No Jackson or Garcon @BradBiggs: Pro Bowl wide receivers are Brandon Marshall, Antonio Brown, Dez Bryant, Josh Gordon, Andre Johnson, Calvin Johnson and Demaryius Thomas.
  14. So umm Alshon didn't make the Pro Bowl Edit: Forte and Marshall made it for the Bears.
  15. Toews one shy of his own with a period to play.
  16. So much for Toews scoring drought
  17. I would think some of it counts against this year's cap and its spread really thin over the duration of the deal. It also locks up the best Kicker in the league. Not a horrible signing.... No but I'm planning on unfairly blaming him for missing the playoffs if/when we lose on Sunday.
  18. He left the team yesterday with some sort if family issue. I don't think it's been disclosed what the issue is but I'm assuming its bad if he might miss this one.
  19. I would assume that. Nothing I read mentions any discussion of him returning this year. Really tough break right before Big Ten season. Tourney might be hard to make without him.
  20. Would have been awesome to take the pressure of playing for his next contract off his plate and giving him the ultimate approval that he's our guy from Bears management right before one of his biggest games in a Bears uniform.
  21. I heard on the Score this morning that Cobb wasn't expected to play, but it was Hub who said that so who knows. I'm not worried about Finley playing. I think with the Bears run D, hobbled Lacy vs. Starks is marginally an upgrade. The biggest upgrade is of course Rodgers. Assuming his collarbone doesn't limit him, the Bears have to respect the deep ball and the idea of putting 8 in the box to stop the run is probably going to burn them. Then there's obviously much less chance of getting 1-2 TOs from the QB, as Rodgers doesn't turn the ball over like Flynn might. Hoping for the best. Still think we could win but definitely less excited about this one than I was earlier in the week.
  22. I wonder if a Bears team has ever given up at least 20 points in every game in a season. Strangely enough the season low in points allowed was 20 to the Packers. edit: Just looked it up. They've allowed under 20 points in a game at least 3 times every single year in their existence. This year 0 through 15 games with Aaron Rodgers staring them down.
  23. If it makes anyone feel better Rodgers only averages 3 points per drive against the 2013 Bears defense. I really thought there was no way Rodgers was playing so this is certainly surprising. Before this I would have given the Bears a 60-40 shot at winning, now I'm thinking 40-60.
  24. Too bad Cowboys couldn't hold a 26 point lead or Gould couldn't hit a FG he usually makes in his sleep. Just the way it usually seems to go. Of course on the contrary if Sanu doesn't fumble deep in Bears territory about to go up 2 scores, or Cutler doesn't find Bennett in the end zone with 11 secs left or Rodgers doesn't go out in the first Packers game or we don't etch out the Ravens game....guess it's just been that kind of year.
