  1. And Lions get a huge punt return and are in FG range
  2. dammit, Giants go 3 and out to start the 2nd half
  3. I'll take the team we need to lose the most down 10 at halftime, and the other team we need to lose up 4, both teams kicking off to start the 2nd half
  4. Come on get it to at least 4 by halftime
  5. Tonights game being meaningless for both the Eagles and Bears is increasingly looking like a strong possibility
  6. Damn you steelers
  7. I wasn't watching carefully but the Steelers re-punted. Gotcha
  8. 4th and 14 at GB 48: M.McBriar punts 35 yards to GB 13, Center-G.Warren, fair catch by M.Hyde. PENALTY on PIT-G.Warren, Defensive Holding, 10 yards, enforced at GB 48 Is this right? How does that penalty give the Packers the ball at the Steelers 42??
  9. Come on Giants, get points before halftime and get the ball to start the 2nd half
  10. The Lions losing means the Bears are alive no matter what happens tonight so that probably ? The Bears cannot be eliminated this week no matter what You probably meant the Bears can still control their destiny no matter what happens tonight.
  11. Packers punt, good stuff. We've actually gotten lucky that the Steelers havent been eliminated yet. If the Jets had lost, or the Dolphins won, they'd be out. Not only that but the Ravens are losing 17-0 and the Chargers are losing (but don't have to lose this week for the Steelers to stay alive, just one of the last 2 weeks), meaning that its likely that they go into week 17 still alive for the playoffs somehow if they can win this. If those scores hold (and Steelers beat Packers), the Steelers could get into the playoffs with a Jets win over Miami, Bengals win over Baltimore and Steelers win over Cleveland.
  12. If you had to choose either the Lions losing or the Packers but not both or neither, you'd have to choose Lions losing right?
  13. Steelers get a stop and Giants driving for a TD (hopefully)
  14. Ugh, Packers up 7, Lions tied it up.
  15. Man lets hope the Vikings aren't this bad if we need them to win against Detroit next week.
  16. Ugh. Cowboys are choking. I shouldn't be surprised I guess.
  17. What is Emerys stance against players with troubles? I imagine if the Bears have an interest in resigning him, this will lower his value a bit but it would come with him probably not being available for the first 4 games next year.
  18. Just got last minute tickets to Bengals-Vikings. Only said yes after I realized that GB and Detroit games were late games. Need to be glued to the TV from 3:30 (CST) - 11:30
  19. Predictions: Washington 23 Dallas 20 Detroit 27 New York 17 Pittsburgh 20 Green Bay 13 Philadelphia 31 Chicago 28 Hope I'm wrong on 2 of them. I think the Bears Eagles game could go either way. If Dallas wins I might change Bears score.
  20. Some terrible shoot out attempts for both sides
  21. According to this article, don't be so quick to pencil Briggs into the starting lineup Sunday:
  22. Nice....if they lose and we win, they almost certainly don't bring him back for week 17 (bc they'll be eliminated)
  23. 6 of them pick our nightmare scenarios of the Eagles, Packers and Lions all winning this week. Although I guess if we lose and the Lions win, the Packers game is meaningless to us.
  24. It doesn't make any sense though. Maybe you could say that last year or the year before, but unlike the previous years, part of the core is going to be a FA and looking for a raise. The team is already well over the luxury tax and stands to become repeaters and face a much stiffer penalty if they are over the tax next year. They cannot and will not be able to bring back the core next year. There is no way JR is going to see all the injuries that destroyed every key player on this team the last 3 years, see how much money he spent for said team, and then be ok with raising the payroll significantly (because of Deng raise and repeater tax increase) to bring back the same team. Even if they amnesty Boozer and replace him with Mirotic and draft picks, it's just not going to happen. So either this report is true and GarPax is a complete moron or this is just a leak from the Bulls FO to prevent destroying whats left of the Bulls psyche and to not appear desperate while finding a taker for Deng.
