Nobody said they shouldn't be fouls, just not NBS style continuation shooting fouls. I continue to be impressed by how Groce has these guys playing their best at the end of the season. Maybe they can work on not [expletive] the bed for 2 months every year now

Iowa reminds me of the early to mid 00's Tommy Amaker Michigan teams. Start out great, get ranked nationally, appear to be locked into an NCAA berth and then fade away down the stretch. The difference I guess is 4 extra at-large teams because Michigan was probably one of the first 4 teams out a couple of those years.

Villanova is so bad. They lost to Seton Hall. No way they make it out of the first weekend, right? Are we basing it on today only or the whole season where the worst of Villanova's 3 losses before today was to Creighton and two of OSU's 8 losses were to Penn State?

I dont know but I'm sure Nebraska is happy OSU won. Now they get a likely consequence free game tomorrow. They should probably still try to win it though just in case.

if you base it on last years numbers, they are a considerable upgrade and cheaper

Yeah I think Illinois would need to get to the BTT title game to get legit consideration. After today their RPI is 64 and their SOS will be in the low 30s. 3 150+ losses is around the low end of the bubble teams, but other than @ Indiana, all of Illinois other losses are in the top 45 RPI. Beating Michigan and Ohio State would give them 6 Top 50 wins (3 road, 2 neutral) and 3 Top 25 wins (1 road, 2 neutral). I'd think that would be enough but bukie might have a more informed opinion on this.

I don't think I will ever follow the minor leagues again if Baez doesn't at least turn into a solid player. He just looks too awesome and bust proof to fail.

I was just thinking. The Big Ten Tourney is going to be interesting next year with 14 teams. 1 and 2 get byes then we have 6 opening round games on Thursday at the UC. They're going to have to start at like 9am CT if they want the games to end by midnight
