podlesh Yes, how did I forget that mediocre piece of [expletive]. Why are you praising him by calling him mediocre? he had the worst net punt average in the NFL this year and was even worse than normal in a do or die game. One of his shitty ass 30 yard punts directly led to a Packers TD in a 5 point game.

You could also say that the gift of the personal foul penalty on Rodgers took away the Bears' chance to tie with a field goal at the end. win with a FG you mean They would have been down 3 with the Packers kicking the extra point instead of going for two, but a lot of hypotheticals in there. Good point, i usually catch that.

Better offense early in the game would have won it as surely as better defense would have. Can't count on great offense all the time. Still need some defense i dont think the Bears tried to ignore the defense. they made a bad hire at coordinator, suffered multiple injuries, and drafted poorly the last few years.
