  1. Control+Olt+Delete that AB from my memory I'll be here all night folks!
  2. McCutchen is pretty good at this baseball
  3. On the one called strike, he turned backward like he was about to be hit
  4. You are. That's the number he chose. I get that, but why were people questioning it? Usually when a player has a non-traditional number not during spring training or the september call up period there's some special significance behind it. Justin Berg is the only other Cub to wear #64
  5. Rizzo not looking good against a lefty
  6. Interesting. Would that have been challengable if he didnt change it? Not that I would use a challenge there, just trying to get a grasp for what is allowed.
  7. beat me to it...nails on a chalkboard What is this hockey?
  8. Not sure, but I'm sure blackout rules still apply for me.
  9. I'll take what I can get...link? http://goatd.net/80899/watch-pittsburgh-pirates-vs-chicago-cubs
  10. anyone have a WGN stream of the game? I can only find ESPN's. Want to hear Len if possible.
  11. View opening day as Olt day. . In 2003 Corey Patterson hit a HR in the 1st inning of his 2nd opening day In 2006 Murton hit a 1st inning HR in his 1st opening day In 2009 Soriano lead off the season with a HR In 2010 Byrd hit a 3 run HR in his first Cubs AB in the 1st In 2010 Castro hit a HR in his first major league AB In 2013 Rizzo hit a 1st inning HR in his 1st opening day Cubs have a way with early magic BTW in all 3 seasons Byrd played for the Cubs, he was the batter when the 1st Cubs run of the season scored. 2010 he hit a HR, in 2011 he reached on an error scoring a run, in 2012 he singled in a run (probably his only hit with the Cubs that season)
  12. If the whole team remained together the entire season - 75 With the annual trade deadline sell off - 66
  13. no inside sources here, but i like McGary to return he's still a year younger than Payne, who improved his stock by returning Come back and risk injury again? I think he's gone. Though, he probably looking at a pick in the 20s vs. a lottery pick if he comes back. I think he's a high second round pick right now unless he somehow impresses greatly during his workouts
  14. As is Andrew Wiggins, which shouldn't be a shock to anyone.
  15. I just can't get excited for Opening Day this year. WTF is wrong with me? Oh wait, Fred is back!! BRING ON OPENING DAY!!!
  16. For those that didn't see the Toews hit: http://d3j5vwomefv46c.cloudfront.net/photos/large/846299540.gif?1396227866
  17. Regardless it was a stacked bracket. An undefeated team, the most talented team in the country (arguably), last years champs with much of the same roster, and then 2 of the 3 best offenses in the country, one being last years runner up and the other having one of the 2-3 best players in the country in Duke.

  19. (To newusername)UM Hoops posted a story full of quotes from Glenn and it made it pretty apparent that he's not coming back. He was saying stuff about how he questioned his decision to come back because he thought he was promised that he'd play the 3 and allowed to show off his abilities there, then Mitch went down and he was a 4 again. Then he said something about how he's glad UM was making a tourney run so he could give back to the fans "one more time". He's going pro. Nik would be stupid not to go pro as a projected mid-1st. Especially after seeing how McGary and Robinsons stock dropped after returning. He's gone. That leaves Mitch. I think he's gone. Since he played prep ball he's the age of a Junior this year. Will be 23 as a rookie. I can't see how another year helps his draft stock at all. Especially if he doesn't come back and dominate. It's too risky. Obviously a risk going pro after basically missing basically the entire season and being a big man with back issues but I think he's gone. Michigan has a top 40 wing coming in and redshirted a top 80 player this year (Donnal) so I'm hoping a core of Walton, Levert, Irvin, Chatman and Donnal is good enough to make the tourney. I think it is, especially with Beilein but we will see. MSU is gonna have a down year next year but I think they make the tourney.
  20. Yeah, they are definitely clicking at the right time. Kudos to them and calipari. And as much as I hated watching UK win, it was sorta fun watching michigan on the business end of a last second three this year. Yeah. Understand that from a Kansas fan. I cheer for the B1G in the tourney, so I was hoping for Michigan. I have to admit though after MSU lost, I wasn't in the mood from hearing from Michigan fans if they won. Kentucky actually made as many 3s as Michigan did with several less shots Michigan has done two things excellent all year, winning close games and out shooting their weaknesses in rebounding and defense. Welp, UM got a taste of their own medicine as they finally lost a close game and they lost because of lights out 3 point shooting. Obviously it was a bit heartbreaking but I'm over it already. Great season that exceeded all my expectations after McGary was lost. Was looking forward to Bucky though. Oh well.
  21. This season is turning into a train wreck.
  22. Good to know we have Bucky waiting if we can get past Kentucky
  23. I can't believe they called an offensive foul when a team trailing by one is going for the winning score with under 10 seconds left.
  24. Where is he anyways? I saw him posting on Facebook a week or two ago
