    INTENSITY!

Sharp will turn 33 next season, he has probably two good years left. Meh its hockey and his game isn't predicated on speed. He could possibly stay sharp (pun greatly intended) for another 5 years. Or he could suck in 2 like you suggested.

What could they get for Seabrook? To start? A 2nd line center and a Top 4 d-man, IMO. There's little in the way of FA defensemen available. Ryan Kesler still out there? Obviously you'd have to give up more but I'd love to get involved in those discussions.

The Kings had just iced the puck after a long shift, and thus had to keep tired players on the ice. The Hawks could change at will. This. And the face off was in the Kings defensive zone

    Oduya?

Pretty good Hawks post-mortem on the season by The Committed Indian, even if it is a little too anti-Q http://thecommittedindian.com/lock-leave/

Noah made All-Defensive 1st team, Jimmy Butler 2nd team. Surprised Taj didn't make it.

Yeah, IMO he's a mediocre goaltender with 2 great playoffs. I am not sure how advanced stats work for goalies, but to me a .915 career save percentage is nothing special. For comparison purposes, Crawfords is .914 and Crawford's has been better in each of the last 2 seasons. In the playoffs, Crawford is at .920, Quick .922.

I'd laugh my ass off and probably get banned from the Bulls thread in short order Wallace, Olynyk, and this years first rounder should do the trick And we'd be like "thats OK we didnt even want Love, we want Melo" Then Melo signs with the Lakers and we all cry ourselves to sleep.

There's also this during the Kings first goal (not the high stick): https://mobile.twitter.com/CRoumeliotis/status/473347795081236480/photo/1

I'm surprised no one mentioned this on the broadcast or in this thread. I didn't see quick throw the bottle but I thought it was odd the bottle was on the middle of the ice right before the face off. Now we know why. For reference this was in OT after the Kings iced it during a really long shift for their top line. This bought them an extra 15 seconds or so. Can you give a penalty for this??

    Hah

Rough quotes from the Hawks after this one. I guess when you've had a run this like you don't really believe you will actually fail until it actually happens.
  19. UMFan83
Absolutely nothing but rest and take another shot next year. Kane and Toews are only 25 and 26. Always fun to remember that. i just had a horrible horrible prior/wood flashback. thanks, jerk. Derrick Rose is still only 25!
  20. UMFan83
Draft, World Cup then Bourbonais. Maybe...spend time with our families in the meantime? Oh I almost forgot, watch Rose suffer some fluke devastating injury playing for team USA

Won't be until tomorrow. He's at the bar watching it with his bros.

Really wanted this one but at the same time they gave us a great series and the Kings were every bit out equals. We need to digest why the defense became such an incredible liability, figure out who is going to center our second line and figure out how to bring up the young kid whose name I'm not going to try to spell. Can't believe we lost a game 7 on home ice. Especially one we led 2-0, 3-2 and 4-3. Sucks
  24. UMFan83
I was a great series. Hawks dominated the kings completely in the third and OT and were outscored 2-0
  25. UMFan83
    That siucks
