  1. Did you mean Krivokrasov? Anyway who cares. [expletive] me. No Karpovsev who scored the game winning OT goal for the Hawks in game 1 of the Blues series in 2002
  2. Why couldn't they just score before the intermission? Good night
  3. Any chance we can bring Karpovsev back for this OT? Nevermind we lost
  4. I'm just glad to flip and see a goal scored. Id forgotten what that looked like. Been about 85 minutes of hockey for the Hawks.
  5. I wonder if Toews even knows where he is right now.
  6. wtf I think we looked pretty good in OT
  7. I have a love/hate relationship with the lack of commercials during OT in the playoffs.
  8. Yeah Game 1 at home I would expect their best effort
  9. 7-15 in OT in the regular season. You knew the first playoff game was going to go to OT (I know I know different rules and no SO)
  10. D really has a lot of improving to do. I was hoping the shitty play down the stretch was just them trying to get through the season but they've been pretty bad tonight.
  11. Terrible turnover and it costs us
  12. Can't get anything going on offense
  13. Seems that it featured an extended rain delay, but the box doesn't mention it. Probably thinking of a different game. I believe the delay was to start the game. I remember waiting for a long time for the game to start, then giving up and going to sleep and waking up the next day to find out that not only was the game played, but the Cubs scored 26 runs.
  14. Huh? They knew this team would probably be bad and knew attendance would suffer as a result. They aren't going to be shocked when Wrigley is half empty and they aren't going to change their gameplan. You can bitch all you want about how shitty the team is and talk about how apathetic the fans are and nothing is going to change their timeframe for success.
  15. Please go on long playoff runs Bulls and Hawks
  16. That's odd. This team is more interesting to me than those. It isn't to me. Everything interesting about the 2014 Cubs, save Rizzo and Castro, is in Iowa right now. Kind of interested in some players at bigs but I'm happy just looking at the box scores.
  17. Yeah it feels like mid august in terms of level of interest.
  18. Aldon Smith anyone?
  19. Per twitter, game 1 will be Sunday at 6pm
  20. I only watched an inning during lunch but he looked pretty damn good. Good for him. So what streak ends tonight: Not swept in any series, or losing every series?
  21. Wait, who was the 4th besides the members of Run TMC? I dont know maybe he's including Chris Weber with them even though he didn't play with Richmond.
  22. Tonight is the last night of the regular season so here are the playoff scenarios still at play for the Bulls: Bulls vs. Charlotte Toronto vs. NY Knicks Brooklyn vs. Cleveland Washington vs. Boston 3 Bulls vs. 6 Wizards -Bulls win -Toronto loss -Brooklyn win 3 Bulls vs. 6 Nets -Bulls win -Toronto loss -Brooklyn loss -Washington win 4 Bulls vs. 5 Nets -Bulls loss OR Toronto win -Brooklyn win OR Washington loss 4 Bulls vs. 5 Wizards -Bulls loss OR Toronto win -Brooklyn loss -Washington win Charlotte can still be the 6 seed, but since they are playing Chicago tonight and need a win, the Bulls can't match up with the Bobcats
  23. You actually think the Nets are purposely losing to avoid the Bulls? I don't know their motivations for anything but "tanking for the 6 seed" was a story today. Turns out they played their guys tonight and lost anyway, but the story was they were gonna shut down 6 guys for their last two games. If that had actually been the case wouldn't you also surmise they were comfortable slipping to the 6 seed? Yes but I suspect that was as much trying to match up with Miami (4-0 this year) as it is avoiding Chicago Maybe, but they were 1-2 vs Chicago this year and were knocked out of the playoffs by the Bulls last year. Yeah that's why I said as much. I definitely think they would prefer to avoid us.
