    Not much to add other than Chicago has participated in 4 of the last 6 conference finals. That's nuts. Also, a 50% chance of a second consecutive Original 6 SCF, very nice.

    We're fine. We will win at home on Sunday and have 2 chances to finish them off. How many times have the Hawks been on the ropes and risen to the occasion the last 2 years? I want to point and say I told you so to the people who were predicting sweep after game 2, or talking about how bored they were waiting for the next series to start.

    OK it was cute keeping bonifacio at the top of the lineup when he started hot, but we all knew he'd eventually suck and he has. Last 22 games: .221/.280/.279/.559

    Yeah, after two first round "risks" the last two years, he might've felt like he needed to play it safer this year. With one of those (and the most recent) having worked out very well, not sure why that would be his reasoning. I don't think he went safe in direct response to 2012/2013, but rather now that it is his third draft he takes full ownership of 2014 results and he needed a guy he was reasonably assured could produce from day 1. It's possible he believes the Bears are in a position to contend, and knows the defense needs help so he took someone who is solid and can contribute in year 1.

    Great, the only game I thought I'd be able to watch while I'm in Germany. I guess if its at 6 (1 am germany) I can still watch Game 5 but would have been a lot more convenient

    I think it would actually be 9th. They lost the 1st game in the Philly SC Finals, then the 8 you mentioned (Van, Phoenix, Minny, Det, LA, Bos, Stl, Minny). They won a road game that series too. I think the only 2 playoff series the Hawks in the Q era that they won the first road game were the 2nd Vancouver series and SJ, both in the first cup run. I can't remember if they won the first road game in the first Vancouver series.

    Crawford chants when their goalie is Bryzgalov I can understand those chants when your goalie buckles under the pressure but if there's one thing Crawford does well is not let things get to him

    They're still coasting. It shows. Outplayed for long stretches at home the first 2 games and losing tonight. Not worried about the series at this point. Just annoyed at the people I've heard that are basically taking this series for granted.

    There is so much red. I know the wild have red in their colors but I'm assuming most fans don't wear red wild gear right? If that's true it's like 60-40 hawks fans there.
