  1. Also looks like Garza is starting at Center and the leagues 2nd best Center is benched today.
  2. I'm gonna change my prediction to 45-28 Falcons
  3. So our 4 best LBs might be out to go along with a starting CB (yeah Tillman is out for the year but goes along wth this "woe is me post"). But our DT is coming back after missing a month with a concussion, our starting DE is back after recently losing 20 pounds from pneumonia, ad our starting S who hasn't finished a game all year it seems, is playing despite multiple concussions this year including one last week and separated shoulders weekly. On offense only our starting LT is out and we just got back 2 others on the line who missed multiple weeks with injuries. Also both starting WRs have been hurt, with Marshall recently revealing he's hobbling around on an injured ankle that should have kept him out at least 4 weeks. Oh and our projected 3rd WR is out for several more weeks after a freak injury at the beginning of the preseason. Oh and our best coverage guy on a terrible special teams has missed significant time as well. What a season so far.
  4. Next year all games are Under The Lights
  5. What the hell was that?
  6. Quite an awkward hug between Donovan and Klinsmann
  7. Ok Nevermind on Bostic. Michael C Wright says the likely Bears starting LBs Sunday will be Bostic, Christian Jones and DJ Williams
  8. Shea and Bostic are both doubtful. This could be scary Not sure where you saw this, I'm seeing Shea as OUT and Bostic as questionable: I could have heard it wrong but it was on the last update from one of the sports talk stations. Maybe ESPN?
  9. Shea and Bostic are both doubtful. This could be scary
  10. As for the game, I just don't feel good about this one. I think the Bears *can* win it, but I'm predicting doom and gloom Falcons 34 Bears 27
  11. I think 7-9 or better and there's no chance Trestman is gone unless he loses the locker room or something. But not making the playoffs this year will result in replacing coordinators and a playoffs or gone ultimatum for next year.
  12. He's not going anywhere, just accept it. I really wish that Donovan could just have his last moment of glory in peace without all this sniping and bickering (by both sides).
  13. http://espn.go.com/los-angeles/nfl/story/_/id/11674958/mayor-eric-garcetti-says-highly-likely-nfl-team-come-los-angeles If there really a good chance for LA to have a team in the next year, its almost certain one NFL team is already on its way out. My guess is its the Rams.
  14. I don't think anyone is worked up about them. I just don't like them and would prefer they just end in ties rather than awarding points based on a skills competition.
  15. I'm assuming he meant week 3 because he was hurt during that game and didn't seem to have any new injury issues against GB.
  16. When he scores on the shootout he makes it look easy.
  17. Win or lose I hate shootouts. Would rather bring back ties.
  18. Not a great first game overall
  19. Also I can't stand the stars jerseys. They look like the Hawks St. Patricks day green jerseys.
  20. Hawks can try to not get dominated for awhile if they want to.
  21. Will be interesting to see if this blows up... http://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/2014/10/09/jerry-angelo-chicago-bears-national-football-league/16981865/
  22. The Falcons have a horrible, horrible defense. The Bears will score at least 30. They are terrified of the Bears offense. According to DVOA, Atlanta's defense is ranked 28th in the league. Carolina's is ranked 27th and we scored 24 so...I don't think we'll have a problem moving the ball but are we going to shoot ourselves in the foot repeatedly like we have the last 2 weeks? The Bears offense seems angry enough to start making plays and stop shooting themselves in the foot. I wouldn't be surprised if this is the game that the Bears offense finally puts it all together and scores more than 30. My worry is that Matt Ryan at home lights up the scoreboard and doesn't lose much in the dome. They've scored 37 (in OT) and 56 in 2 home games this year. Exactly, and while they did get lit up by the Saints, in their most recent home game they allowed something like 220 yards and 14 garbage time points to the Bucs. Obviously the Bears are significantly more talented than the Bucs on offense, but its clear this team plays better at home.
  23. I didn't catch the 2nd preseason game, but in the first preseason game he looked very active and aggressive...when he was on the floor. He's only played 28 minutes combined in the 2 preseason games...so a little odd that he is sitting out today.
