Kent Mercker LaTroy Hawkins blowing like 15 games Bitching at umps Under performing Terrible collapse Basically firing both announcers for being too critical (although chip and Steve sucked) Sosa leaving the last game Dusty Baker was involved Feast or famine offense that was famine at the wrong time Blowing a critical game because of Victor Diaz Farnsworth was terrible and then went on the DL after kicking a fan The Rob Mackowiak double header That game against the Cardinals where we had a huge lead and then Pujols hit 3 HRs to beat us Missing out on the playoffs because of guys like LaTroy Hawkins, Victo Diaz and Austin Kearns That's off the top of my head. They were not likable at all and combine that with the expectations being unreached, the epic 2-7 collapse to end the season and Dusty Baler and it was a hated team.

If Rose plays consistently on the level he played against Portland this team would look a crapload better. Whether or not that's going to happen is going to be what decides this season for the Bulls.

This Bears team is going to go down with the 2004 Cubs as the most hated Chicago sports team in recent memory. There is absolutely nothing to like about this team right now. Not one player, not one coach, not one front office person.

No way, that would be horrible. Keep as many good games on Sunday as you can. After a quick look at their ratings, they're actually doing much, much better than I thought. I wonder why MNF gets good ratings and no one watches TNF. Maybe a combo of the aura of MNF and ESPNs hype machine

Whats wrong with the weather? I know its wet but its not like it will be brutally cold. In fact it will only be around 8 degrees cooler than the temperature of last year's October game when the Saints housed the Bears. But anyways, its a matter of a team with something very real to play for vs. a disfunctional team with nothing to play for that's coming apart at the seams.

The tiebreaker is strength of schedule. Whoever has the easiest schedule gets the 1st pick. Right now that goes Tampa Bay, then Jacksonville, then Tennessee, then Oakland. Where do you get your current SOS numbers? Was glad the Jets won today because now as long as the Raiders lose their last two games, they'll get the No. 3 pick. Worst case was Tennessee beating both the Jets and Jags and leaving the Raiders with the fourth pick. I think its doable but you can never count out the Bears winning meaningless games at the end of the season.
