    The Bears have really tested that theory, being competitive to the last 1-2 games almost every year for the last decade but only making the playoffs 3 times. They've been the ultimate tease. Thankfully they at least got a Super Bowl appearance out of that run.

    Also if NW can beat Purdue and Illinois and Michigan can beat Maryland (or I guess OSU) the big ten will have 11/14 teams bowl eligible

    Crazy day when literally half (10/20) of the ranked teams that played today, lost and 6 more won by one score or less.

    I was just thinking that tomorrow's game is only the 2nd game since 2009 that there's nothing on the line for the Bears. Yes technically they are still alive with plenty of season to go but unless they win out it's highly highly unlikely. It's funny to watch a team for 5 years and have something to be excited about every game and now have to switch to a completely different mindset.

    Wow I'm just finding out that NW beat ND. I watched the entire second half and turned it off after the pass interference call that I thought for sure ended the game. The only thing that could have saved NW was a fumble and I figured that was too unlikely. I literally did a double take when I saw the score on the ticker

    If you are going to ice the kicker (which I think is dumb anyways) do it before the snap because if they miss the kick and then make it the second time, you look so freaking dumb (Arizona-Washington)

    This isn't going to be a thing for you, is it? If Rose plays 50 games this year and is healthy for the playoffs, I'd feel better about the playoffs than if Rose goes 35 minutes a game for 80 games this year. Huh? Just reporting the news...a lot of us expected him to be a game time decision so it was a little surprising he was declared out already.

    The inner meatball in me is loving this. I want them to suck for all eternity. I think Phil wants them to suck. High draft pick + cap space is their quickest way to relevancy

    I don't know if anyone mentioned this yet but Wada pitched 1.2 innings for the "MLB All-Stars" last night in Japan and gave up a HR.

    Local media was just waiting for Marshall antics. Couldn't wait for it. Yup, that and waiting for Derrick Rose to talk are their 2 favorite things right now.

    Dallas is currently beating Tankadelphia 73-29 at halftime

    They'll be fine. I remember Asik barely getting off the bench his first year and ended up being a key reserve by the playoffs. It's the 9th game of the year and Thibs has barely put them on the court. Then they come in a game like tonight and press. I'm not worried about them being playoff contributors. They've shown enough flashes for me to be optimistic about their futures.
