Can't say I've ever seen a penalty called, a guy goes to the box and then the call is reversed and he is let out. Of course it happens against the Hawks. 2 borderline calls in 30 seconds go against Chicago.

Man I remember waiting for him to come back from his concussion for a long time and I don't think he ever completely made it back. I'm scared that concussion had something to do with his death

For all the bitching I've done about McDermott not playing, Thibs' redshirt program seems to work out well for us.

I don't even care if the Cubs aren't playing fair and throwing their weight around (if that is even true), if those [expletive] rooftops somehow stop those boards from going up before opening day, I really really hope people somehow organize a boycot of those rooftops.

Sucks to come back from down 2 goals with 2 mins left only to lose in OT. At least we got a point, but 0-0-2 to start the 8 game homestand.

    Speedy slot receiver option?

[source] My friend told me his heart skipped a beat when he read an ESPN headline "Sources: Sabres get Kane in blockbuster deal"

I heard Chris Harris was highly regarded among teammates for his work last year.

Feel bad for the kids. They didn't do anything wrong and now they have to live with it. Meanwhile the people that cheated got to profit off of them.

Good question, I do think if the ref called it a goal on the ice, it would have stood. Not enough evidence to overturn either way. Exactly...I think the refs knew it was almost certainly a goal, but they couldnt overturn it based on the evidence. I don't have any problem with the way the refs called it. Just sucks because if we could get a few more frames with the puck not obstructed by the glove and stick, there would have been conclusive evidence IMO.

Why can't the NHL invest in goal line technology like soccer? The technology is there and it speeds up the game because you don't have reviews like this.

Hawks get screwed out of a point. Raanta sucked in the shootout

Still going to be tough to compete with LA and SF in their division (obviously there's 2 WCs though)

I'm completely fine with this. I think our rotation will be good this year, and if any of them falters there are a ton of 4/5 starters we can try in a rotation spot.

Wouldn't be too hard on IU today. I don't think this UM team is particularly talented after the injuries to Walton and LeVert (and the significant NBA attrition) but in the 6 games without LeVert they've won at Rutgers, lost in OT to Wisconsin, beat Nebraska, lost in OT at MSU, got blown out by Iowa and then the close loss in Bloomington.

Jesus. Down 6 with 50 seconds left and they win in regulation.

Cowley is currently making a passionate defense of Hinrich on Twitter Btw the 6-7-8 guys on the Spurs last year (no order) were Ginobili, Bellineli, and Diaw

Weren't we the favorites for Lester for months? I won't be pissed if they sign Shields for 3 years, but I don't particularly want him either. We are the favorites based on media speculation. Once the bidding started it seemed like the Giants and Red Sox were mentioned more often as favorites than we were. Even at the start of the winter meetings when we were mentioned among the finalists with those teams I think the consensus was he was going elsewhere. It couldn't be because the Cubs FO seems to keep things close to the vest though. To me this seems like a clear case of Shields agents trying to get some more bidding going from SD but crazier things have happened. I'm in the same boat where I won't at all be upset if we get him but definitely won't be very upset if we don't.

RIP Dean Smith. One of the all time greats

I missed the beginning of the game, did anyone see this?

I think that's the case. And I'm glad too....I just read an article on Crain's Chicago Business about the Bulls streaming games on NBC Live Sports app and it seems like CSN has been happy with the success so far, as well as the opening of new revenue streams. Hopefully this becomes a trend because it never really made much sense to me why they wouldn't allow you to stream local games online.

that's an understatement. I did a double take when I saw that schedule. wow. Looks like the same schedule that got UM off to a 6-3 start in the conference.

Mike Weber (4 star RB that just committed to OSU after a tough decision between them and UM) is pissed
  25. UMFan83
I don't necessarily want him to go, I think he's a great coach, but if the team is tuning him out I wouldn't necessarily be pissed if he left. Once a team tunes you out its hard to get them to buy back in. The other option is a trade to shake things up. The Tobias Harris rumor would work for me.
