  1. I almost think the committee moved TCU to 3 last week to prevent them from the controversy of bumping a team from the playoff after a blowout victory. I don't know if that makes any sense, I just came up with that
  2. Bears and Bulls a combined 4-9 at home and 13-7 on road
  3. Meh they will face a team in the playoffs that has a 4 that can actually guard stretch 4s and will lose. The bulls just have too many players playing hurt or out of basketball shape right now. The defense is starting to become a major concern though. It's just not getting better...
  4. What else can he do? He can't create a shot and can't create shots for other. He thinks he's Draymond Green
  5. Just beat the Ducks, Kings, Blues, Canadiens, and Predators, all likely playoff teams, in regulation and contenders by a combined score of 19-7.
  6. Bulls go on 25- 7 run, GS immediately responds with a 30-10 run
  7. I could be wrong but didn't one of the mid-majors who have their conference tournament early schedule a non-conference game AFTER their tournament? I want to say it was a Midwestern team and they were on the bubble for an at large bid at the time
  8. My friend reasoned that UM has 1 WTF loss per season 11: Ohio (in the tourney) 12: winless in B1G Penn State 13: UNC-Charlotte 14: NJIT of course NJIT is by far the worst and this one was at home. Damn.
  9. Oh wow, I'm watching now. 4 point deficit with 2:30 or so left. NJIT has scored on their last 10-11 possessions in a row. They are literally unstoppable. Shooting 61% from the floor and 70% from 3
  10. Make that 11-16. NJIT up 4 with 2.5 mins left
  11. Jesus. Michigan is losing at home to NJIT by 7 with 9 mins left NJIT 10-15 from 3 in the game. Several of them off balanced and heavily contested
  12. Probably trying to temper expectations but whatever. You need to spend like $40 million to even have a respectable mid market payroll.
  13. Yeah I saw that (Cowherd's rumor). He said it isn't someone who has been discussed. Honestly I have no idea who that is. Any guesses?
  14. After calming down from my rant yesterday, I now agree they probably wont make a change. That said, if it continues to get worse, things might change.
  15. This is so stupid. Why the hell would he be house shopping before he makes his decision? He has 3 months until Spring Training, are you telling me he's too busy the rest of the offseason to look for houses? Or that he needs to see what the Chicago housing market looks like before making a decision? I'm going to unfollow Tom Loxas on twitter on this alone.
  16. Man our opponents have been killing us in the media this year
  17. 2 stats I came across this morning: Cutler's YPA is 6.9, which is the the 3rd lowest among qualified QBs in the league, ahead of only Kyle Orton and Alex Smith. Also before last night the Bears had only 36 plays that went for 20 or more yards, which is 29th in the NFL. I turned it off during some of the garbage time, but in the first 3 quarters I don't remember many 20+ yard plays, so I'm guessing that number isn't much higher this morning.
  18. Dude it's garbage time
  19. The 2014 Bears are not allowed to score 30 points in a game
  20. I'm not jumping into the Cutler debate but I wonder how much Cutlers numbers are propped up by garbage time minutes. Between the Pats, Packers and Cowboys games he's had 7 quarters of garbage time.
  21. Including Romo 21 for 25 tonight... QB completion % is at 66.7% (298/447). And this is despite facing Manuel, Geno Smith, Bridgewater and McCown this year
  22. Then they get to fire him, rebuild with a completely fresh start and lock in several more years of job security. They're surviving Trestman, they're not surviving the next failure. No reason to start that clock a year early. Not so sure about that. If the Bears fail again next year Emery and Trestman both have a convenient one year left. Easy time to fire both and start fresh. If Emery hires another guy he stick with the new coach for a few years. Agreed. It's not like Emery has done anything to earn a second contract and his risky moves (Shea and Trestman) have backfired spectacularly.
  23. This comment is dense as meatloaf. Your face is as dense as meatloaf
