  1. Trestman considers those little screens and dumb offs as running plays. He said so earlier in the year.
  2. When he does Cutler gets clobbered
  3. Lions don't score more than 24 points in their last 11 games; score 24 in a half against the Bears.
  4. How is there not people within 10 yards of him
  5. 2 drives killed by holding penalties, 1.5 legit offensive drives, defense looks unprepared and bad. Cue up fire Trestman
  6. For who exactly? DLP was activated, right? I thought he was put on IR?
  7. You forgot they had to play defense didn't you?
  8. everyone in the secondary looks confused. To be fair most of them are rookies or waiver wire fodder
  9. Run run conservative pass punt before 2 minute warning
  10. 2 straight 85+ yard runs yay.
  11. I think the Lions will break that 24 point barrier today...
  12. Who is more unlucky with injuries the Bears or the Bulls?
  13. Penalty killed a promising drive. Come on D get a stop for once
  14. The Lions line would kill Cutler if the gameplan wasn't to get rid of the ball quickly
  15. Who would have thought we'd be looking at a shoutout between these 2 struggling offenses. This looks like one of those games where the opponents punter gets bored.
  16. Jesus. Dude just retire. It's not worth it.
  17. I'll take it. Great start.
  18. Briggs out, Ratliff doubtful, Fuller questionable
  19. I'm not discounting him signing with the Cubs but I'm not sure about the logic. The FO has shown time and time again that they are sticking to their plan, which includes not overpaying their predetermined price for FAs. If another team pays more than they want to they will let him go. To add to that, they've pretty much set the expectations that this year will be an improvement but 2016 is the year they target to seriously contend. Next years FA pitching is even better than this years. They won't have a problem letting Lester go, signing a middle of the road FA starter with value and then go after Price or Zimmerman next year.
  20. No news for a week and then all the sudden all the local beat guys have new info? hmmm
  21. Levine says we are still in it per this article posted 5 minutes ago: http://chicago.cbslocal.com/2014/11/25/levine-cubs-still-in-hunt-for-jon-lester/
