Reggie Wayne and Percy Harvin are on the market!

I know Brandon would be very productive if he was coming back, I would have preferred to keep him but I'm willing to give Pace the benefit of doubt for now that Marshall really was a net negative to the team. Apparently he had already pissed off Pace twice since he took over as GM...of course this is according to Bernstein who has led the drive to aggressively get Marshall out of town from day 1.

Damn Now you can make your smug tweet Bernsie.

Do you have 100 tabs open? I did...got through on like 20 of them right away...searched for 1 ticket best available on opening night and there was nothing. Oh well, I'm gonna head down there and try to buy tickets at a reasonable price, and if not will go to the bar.

I can't believe after all these years the Cubs still use this virtual waiting room system. It's like the exact same process as it was in 2004.

I agree with this. I've been burned in the past holding onto tickets thinking the demand would go up. In 2007 I snagged 4 tickets to game 3 of the World Series intending to sell them. The day after I bought them someone offered me $4000 for them (they collectively cost me $1000 total). I declined thinking the demand would go up before the game. The day before the game I couldn't even field an offer for $3000. I started looking into flights to Denver to go to the game but instead caved and sold them for $2500. Sell now

That was fun. Very very fun. I know Moore can't play PG for 20+ minutes a night but hopefully he cuts into Hinrichs minutes ASAP

    Thanks Oakland

damnit i hate when he does things to make me less excited about good guys doing things That makes no sense When a blind dude is jacking HRs, it makes it seem a lot less difficult when people with the benefit of sight do it.

at least you are working at a place where it might be understandable.

That's Shawn Estes. Show some respect. I hated Estes because he sucked but I will always appreciate his 4 hit SO against the Reds the last week of the 2003 season. I think he also had an RBI double or something like that.

    Schwarb slam!

I was hoping the radio broadcasts available had Len or Pat Hughes, not some generic announcer.

What odds would you put on either Cutler or Marshall being on the Bears next year? At this point I'd say Marshall 10%, Cutler 30%

It would have been funny if he said that he didnt find anti-vaxers attractive.

As amazing as it sounds, Kirk Hinrich is actually getting worse as the season goes on. I don't know if his confidence is shot, or he's hurt or if he's tanking so Thibs doesn't play him because he knows he's hurting the team, but I haven't seen a player affect the game as much as Hinrich since Michael Jordan.

Not 1, not 2 but 3 miracle 3s for Northwestern. That plus some dumb decisions by Michigan and 3-4 terrible calls down the stretch in favor of NW is all it took to keep NW in the game. Either way this is one of the craziest games I've seen this year.
  19. UMFan83
I'd be nearly impossible to slip past the 6 seed, so just ignore the Bulls for 4-5 weeks and hope they are healthy and can do their best in the playoffs.
  20. UMFan83
Looks like the Blues are loading up too. Traded for Jokinen

Should we take the fact that the Hawks are going "all in" during a season where their best player won't return until the WCF as a sign the Hawks are going to be gutted in the offseason? Or just being creative with the extra $5 mil from Kane?

Interesting. Farwell Ben Smith, I will always remember you for this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5rTKAMCmiBc

Is it bad that I'm putting together WCF lines in my head with Vermette and Kane both included?
  25. UMFan83
Hawks pull the trigger on the Vermette trade @TSNBobMcKenzie: Klas Dahlbeck and 1st round pick for Vermette. That is ARI-CHI trade, pending call.
