  1. Playing baseball the right way includes flailing your arms at the umpire about a call while the play is still going on.
  2. He just gave up hits to Herrera and Russell (albeit neither that well struck). I don't know if I want him to be tossed.
  3. They should give him the bubble gum bucket to wear for a helmet Edit: and im like the fifth person to make that joke including Len
  4. 3-1 count, good chance to get something going. Nope another grounder to the left side. (I know he hit a double and scored his last time)
  5. Of course he falls and still catches it. It's like they are trying to piss us off
  6. Apparently waiting for wild pitches and infield hits are part of playing the right way
  7. This is all on the offense scoring 1 run on 3 hits against a shitty left handed pitcher
  8. Ahh yes a slow chopper to the hole. And you wonder why the Cardinals hit .700 with RISP
  9. Heyward had to be hitting .600 against us this year.
  10. Hahahhaha Oh My God. I bet he's one of those bat [expletive] confederate supporters. aren't they all?
  11. Would you prefer dead cats? (NO WSR THIS WAS ONLY A JOKE PLEASE DO NOT DO THIS)
  12. In retrospect we really should have sold high on Castro when he had his first good season in 3 years in 2014
  13. In our last 17 games, we've played the Cardinals nearly 5 times and given up 23 runs (4.6 runs per game) and played everyone else 12 games and have given up 15 runs (1.25 runs per game)
  14. Jeez its crazy how pitching has dominated. I remember one year Jason Schmidt had an ERA under 3 and I thought that was just sick. Now there are 23 starters with ERAs under 3 and 3 that have ERAs under 2. I mention this because I saw Arrieta's ERA was down to 2.62 and thought that was great, but it would only be 15th in the MLB and 8th in the NL. The fact that the Cubs have 2 starters with ERAs at 2.89 or lower and neither of them were close enough to making the all star team that they are considered snubs is just insane for someone who grew up in the steroid era.
  15. I have to keep reminding myself about how he got picked off first to end a World Series game. Makes me feel a little better about that little [expletive].
  16. Yuck...
  17. Cubs have scored 2 runs in their last 25 innings.
  18. it's a commentary on the pathetic offerings from PTR giving the other team decaf and telling them it's regular is the new moneyball I would say sneaking amphetamines in there would be more effective. Suspensions galore!
