    They can both stand on the bag as long as they'd like. It's only an out when one is tagged while both are on the base. Murphy was never tagged while Tejada was on the bag. By the time he was tagged he was technically the only baserunner since Tejada is automatically out when (reverse) passing Murphy

    Again both runners have to be on the base when tagged for one to be out. But Tejada runs past Murphy making him automatically out with Murphy safely standing on third. That should be correct

    By going past Murphy, the lead runner is out automatically but not the trailing runner who stayed on 3rd

    At first i thought this was ridiculous, but I guess its 2 years with a partially guaranteed 3rd year. And if the cap is really going up as much as it is, its not a huge deal to pay him $4.8 mil I still think we need to get a lot more athletic as a team and MDJ doesn't help us in this aspect. I'd be fine with him as a 6th man but I'd like a better starting SF.
