The great ARCubsFan in all his Cardinal loving glory, compared 2015 Cubs/Cardinals to 2009 Blackhawks/Red Wings. I was shocked no one jumped all over that. For non-hockey fans, 2009 was the first year the Blackhawks made the playoffs in 7 years, they played their most hated rival who in recent history dominated hockey (sound real familiar?) and lost the series 4 games to 1. -
1. Arrieta 2. Lester 3. Lackey 4. Hendricks ?

I have a feeling because your asking that the Cubs are both of these. But if I didn't get that feeling, my guesses would be 1. Cardinals and 2. Pirates

So off hand it seems like the Cubs are slightly better than 50/50 chance of winning the NLCS if we were to advance and probably 55/45 to beat the AL team in the world series. Does that sound right?

So I was thinking about how Lackey had better traditional stats than Lester this year. 2.77 ERA vs 3.43 for Lester Then I took a look at FIP...2.92 for Lester and 3.53 for Lackey

So Jake Arrieta pitched a CG SO and his ERA over his last 10 starts dropped just 0.03 points (0.27 to 0.24)

I'm guessing Lackey/Garcia/Wacha/Lynn Possibly switch Lynn and Wacha given how bad he's been the last few months but the Cubs have hit them both well so it doesn't matter

Maybe I'm just in the heat of the moment but this might be my favorite sports team that I ever followed. Damn good after a down period, so much potential to get even better in coming years, historically dominant and cocky ace, tons of likable personalities (the worst players on the team are some of the most likable somehow) and the team has this youthful energy and cohesiveness that you cannot manufacture led by our half crazy half genius manager.
