That pitch was filthy -
Well it helps that this pitching is complete garbage but yeah this is a lot more like the 2016 Cubs than last week

Road Bryant says "horsefeathers road Bryant"
-
That was freaking awesome

wtf, the Braves have hit 3 HR total this year. How is that possible?
-
So this is the second time in a row where Ross catches Arrieta and Lester back to back right? If you are set on getting Ross 2 out of every 5 starts (and as long as he doesn't look like a complete hack at the plate like last year that's fine), its not a bad plan to match him with your best pitchers (who might need less offense, and who would benefit even more from a very good framer) as well as give him consecutive games instead of sporadic starts.

he's younger than me, you [expletive] [expletive] [expletive] Don't break a hip old man, relax.

Why do you hate Arrieta?!?!?!?!!!! I was referring to Fred kidding of course!

What a terrible playoffs so far. 13 out of 16 games have been won by at least 9 points or more and 9 of the 16 by 17 points or more. A combo of the Bulls not being in it, the inevitability that the Warriors will win it (unless Spurs can beat them but they don't play until WCF), and all the blowouts has made me barely watch any of the playoffs.

Would be awesome if the Cubs could come back and win this
-
I would love to have him. Is our cap set up well enough that we can safely allot the amount of money he will receive and not screw ourselves over in the future?

https://twitter.com/CarrieMuskat/status/722898243063910400 Assuming this means they are about to call it or they are anticipating an extended delay.

I went with Something New which I am considering "Other" and guessing environmental disaster

Also, Heyward really isnt hitting anything right now offensively. It is possible the higher leg kick or whatever else they may have adjusted will lead to more HRs, but we won't know until he starts to hit consistently.
