  2. I mean he's literally been the GM for 17 games and he inherited an aging team virtually void of young impact talent. I'm not saying you should say he's doing a good job so far but I'm giving him more than a year and change before I deliver a verdict on him. hes been gm for a hell of a lot more than 17 games. He's been gm for over a year and a half. He hired a known horrible game manager as head coach and has had two full drafts and two offseason signing periods. Plus two camps. In the NFL, that is enough time for a good gm to make a team good. Not great, but good. This team is doing the same [expletive] it did 4 years ago. He's had 17 games to show results. So far the results aren't good enough but I liked his FA pickups and this is the 1st game we've seen a 1st round pick of his play. I would have rather gone for a young assistant over fox because he's old and clearly has issues but I don't think he's a disaster hire so I think that's where you and I disagree. If at the end of this year the Bears look bad still, white and Floyd show no signs of being stars, freeman and travathen don't do much to improve defense and the offense continues to struggle because they failed to replace their good RB and TE among other issues I am fine with saying pace is not good

I'm not saying you should say he's doing a good job so far but I'm giving him more than a year and change before I deliver a verdict on him. Edit: and to clarify, I'm not giving him a ton more time. I expect to see at least a couple of these draft picks prove themselves but I think 1 game into his second season is not necessarily fair to him.
  4. Meh. Not the game it self, just watching the pass rush knock jay on his ass 15 drop backs in row
  5. This is embarrassing
  6. Maybe but there might not be a worst matchup for a team that's breaking in 2/5 guys on their line. They were simply worn down over time and now Houston is having their way
  7. That's about as bad as a half as you'll see.
  8. Need a TO or this is dangerously close to over
  9. Wow Fox what a complete idiot
  10. You know 3rd down stops are a thing right bears
  11. Yes but we look professional when we lose now
  12. Yeah you rarely see ball spots overturned but I would have in that situation
  13. Good defense vs not as good defense?
  14. Run defense has been a little disappointing but it's really nice to see linebackers flying all over the place again
  15. Ohh yeah it's trees fault they lost
  16. You shut your stupid mouth I hope I'm wrong and the Bears win tomorrow
  17. Looks like Houston is getting deep dish
  18. As long as Fowler and Zobrist get their horsefeathers together I'm ok with the offense. but they've been hitting below my lofty expectations for awhile
  19. Well that sucked. 2 hit by horsefeathers pitching.
  20. His OPS close to dropping into the .700s
  21. 7 hits combined in the first game and 8 innings. Blah
  22. It happens. It's stupid, but it happens. Just let UMFan do his UMFan thing.
  23. The Cubs have faced 4 straight starters who came in with ERAs over 4.50 and 3 of them with ERAs at 5 or more. They have scored 5,1,2 and so far 1 runs in those 4 games.
  24. Get all this horsefeathers offense out of the way now.
