  1. Don't know if you can say they've done so well when they have 56 yards of offense midway through the 2nd quarter
  2. I'd rather bring back Kyle Orton then keep watching Glennon. If no Trubisky at least bring in a QB that is more entertaining
  3. That's the earliest we can clinch right? Can only get down to 2 today and 1 tomorrow because the Brewers are off.
  4. Maybe I won't be 60% Cubs, 30% Red Zone, 10% Bears by 1pm
  5. I never realized how slow Howard is. On that last run I saw a huge hole and figured he was taking it to the house but by the time he got there the hole closed right up.
  6. Wow nice break on the muffed punt. Let's see if the. Ears can actually take advantage
  7. Bears have won the coin toss in 12 consecutive games. 1 in 4096 probability of that happening.
  8. Because you use pitchers like that in blowouts, and that is what this game is. Apparently my joke did not land like I thought it would.
  9. Ok this is worth freaking out about: The Leather man is attempting to close out the game for Pittsburgh and the lead is only 5
  10. i'm not even a little bit worried about the cubs not winning the division this isn't me trying to be cool online or something or maybe i'm just a robot lolz but i'm really not. Think about it this way..the Red Sox are up 4 games over the Yankees right now and I look at the standings and don't even consider that a race anymore, it's just waiting for the inevitable clinch to occur. Anyone that is even remotely worried about the Cubs blowing the division right now is basically worried that a team that has gone 43-23 since the break is going to randomly completely collapse over the last week of the season, as well as have the 2 teams closest to them be nearly unbeatable over that stretch.
  11. Man, doesn't that translate to the dude throwing only something like 18.whatever pitches an inning? Booooo-hooooooooooooo. Pretty heavy workload for a reliever. Again I agree with the usage to this point but didn't think he should have gone out for the 10th. Maybe it's just random baseball that he gave up 2 rockets to 3 batters but after throwing as much as he did this week that could also be a reason why
  12. No it doesn’t. Uh, it might. Depending on how the rest of the weekend goes. Even if they won their next 2 games and the Cubs lost tomorrow and the Cubs lost 3 of 4 in STL, the Cubs would be 1 game up with 3 to play. So yes even if the Cubs go 1-5 in their 6 games (including today) and the Cardinals go 5-1 the Cubs will still be in a situation where they are overwhelming favorites to win the division with a weekend to go. The goal is the same as the Brewers series, win at least 1
  13. Davis has thrown 130 pitches in 7.1 innings over the last 8 days. That seems like a lot. I know this is the stretch where you should use your best reliever a lot to seal a playoff spot, I just don't agree with him going to a second inning today
  14. I didn't think Davis should have pitched today and I definitely was not a fan of him pitching a 2nd inning. Poor managing Joe
  15. This would be a painful loss if we didn't win the first 2
  16. If they win this I really hope they give Davis Sunday and Monday off no matter what. He's been used a ton lately
  17. I don't like the Brewers and their players at all and don't feel bad when the Cubs still need wins but for some reason it's still hard for me to watch players reacting to gut wrenching moments with their season on the line. I guess I'm just a softy
  18. I'm sure you can stream on Fox Sports app. Gonna try that now There you go. Fox Business Network at 3:16.
  19. Schwarber Fan gets his wish to see Pena and Zastryzny in high leverage situations. lol On the flip side. Swarzak is done. Hader is not going to pitch, I doubt Knebel will but if he does he will probably suck. Looking at Jeffress and then??
  20. I'm sure you can stream on Fox Sports app. Gonna try that now
  21. Hendricks Arrieta Lester Quintana Davis Strop Edwards Montgomery Duensing Rondon Last spot is either Wilson, Lackey (lol) or Uehara Avila Contreras Rizzo Baez Russell Bryant Heyward Almora Jay Schwarbs Happ Zobrist Lastella ? Who's the 14th position player? Martin
