They're not starting Mitch on a short week heading to Green Bay. Week 5 is the earliest we'll see him. As has been pointed out: GB defense kind of sucks so might actually benefit him to start vs GB instead of a better defense in Minnesota. Also, preparing for Trubisky on a short week with only preseason game film is just as difficult as preparing your QB for first start on a short week. But honestly how big of a deal is that anyways? If the Bears haven't been preparing him as if he were the starter every week, they are doing him and his development an injustice as well as the team an injustice because he is the backup QB and Glennon is a stiff whose injury is inevitable it seems.
