So the Cubs will play their first home game on day 13 of the MLB season. I'm sure its happened before but I wonder when the latest into the MLB season a team has had their home opener.

Make that less than 5 hours before scheduled first pitch

Can’t even imagine how giddy we’d be if we had Ohtani on pre-arb salary. We’d probably be directing Harper to rest the rest of the season so he’s healthy when we sign him.

Apparently the key is to not do well in Spring Training because it hasn’t seemed to help Happ and Schwarber

He’s on another level so far this year. He’s looked locked in during a majority of his PAs

Great outing but 17 pitches thrown. He’s probably out until at least late April

The Cubs were just saving all their hitting with RISP today for the end of the game

Any chance Rizzo can hit after Javy?

The Cubs are basically Michigan basketball now. Look mediocre to start the season then BOOM I like and greatly appreciate that comparison

Is there a reason I can’t hear Len or is my TV broken?

I forgot how frustrating a sport baseball is. The situational hitting has to improve but while this is going on it’s so freaking annoying

The addition of the strike zone to broadcasts made us all realize how bad umpires really are. I found myself a lot more critical of umpires lately and that has to play a big part of it.
