Pen is going to get interesting. Glad they aren't saving their best available reliever for a potentially non-existent save chance though. -
Knebel is not throwing 3 innings, be serious I could totally see a panicked Craig Counsell doing that but on second though (mostly because TT said it) you are right

Hope we can do some damage against their pen to squeeze an inning or two out of the over bums in our pen. Hope so but their "big 3" should be available and they won't be afraid to push all of them to the limit to secure a win. That would help us for tomorrow though

We are going to have trouble with this pen tonight. I bet they were hoping to get 2 Duenseng, 2 from Monty and Carl for the 9th.

They didn't want to use Hader in the 5th after Zobrist gave the Cubs the lead but there are 2 bullpen mounds so he could have had someone else ready when it was clear Woodruff was gassed and a bunch of lefties coming up in a row for the Cubs.

What a surprise, the Pirates have gone right back to sucking against STL/MIL. Seems like the only teams the Pirates and Reds have played this month are the Cardinals and Brewers.
