Yeah, play this season for 10 mil or whatever it is, or pack it in and wait for next season and play for 16 mil or whatever it is he thinks he can get in FA. I think a smart RB would realize the number of carries for which they can be productive in the NFL is very finite.

Yea, as best I can tell, of the whiddled down list, the Bears were the only to offer up 2 number 1s. If there was another team willing, it probably didnt make the cut down of "potentially sucky teams" Based off of some things that Cobb has said recently, I think the other team to offer two first rounders was the Packers. -
I can't even imagine experiencing that game without having won it all the year before. As it was it was freaking insane. I was actually playing midstakes limit poker while watching that game. I hit river quads on the river against a higher set just as Davis entered the game. That was intense.

speaking for myself...alcohol. I don’t think I was sober for any of October/early November of 2016 Yeah, I actually got an applause from my (non-Cub fan) office for showing up to a meeting the morning after game 7.

As a Packer fan, I have a LOT more hope for the Packer's D. I think the secondary has a decent chance to be one of the better units in the league. That said, yeah, I'm worried about everything on the offsense that isn't named Aaron, and I think the Bears would have playoff buzz if they were in any other division in the league. -9 also seems insane. -

I went to the fangraphs playoff odds site to feel reassured, and sure enough, they have the Cubs as 84% likely to win the division...but then I also noticed that they have the American league around 64% likely to win the World Series, and presumably more if a favorite like the Astros make it. Is their sh1t broken because the bottom half of that league blows to a level they aren't modeling? 64% is cray cray, right? -

IIRC Happ is among the fastest guys on the team. Probably but Gore has legitimate 80 speed. I assumed they'd use him to run even for guys like Happ and Contreras in certain spots. But who cares anymore ...but Happ is fast. I assume you just meant that he is easily swapped out so its a Gore spot?

Welp, I didn't get to watch that last one. I was at a pot luck where everyone conversed by talking about the latest score update from whomever was most recently able/permitted to discreetly check their phone. Fun times. I got a request to do Doug, and sure, why not. I watched that show, but other than the names of some characters and "Stash our trash! Beautify Bluffington!" nothing leaps to mind about the show. I think its the most easily forgotten show ever. I can't even find any decent gifs. Anyhow, did you know that Cole is currently second in WAR for Cubs pitchers behind Hendricks?! He's already at 1.7, ahead of Monty, Carl, and Cishek, in that order. I don't even know what to say to that. (Fun fact: Rizzo, Happ, and LaStella all have Chatwood beat) But we continue to win, so let's keep donging. I'll do a totally better show, namely, Pete and Pete, and put more time into this if we win this one. That's good incentive, right?
