  1. I don't notice players' shoes often, but why does it appear that Zo is wearing green New Balance running shoes?
  2. https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/a44f362f-b367-4d6a-8f65-df8f3d2e9ffd
  3. Fire them and fire Alex Rodriguez.
  4. That is actually a wrestling tradition. Football lasts through November, losing weight over Thanksgiving is the real wrestling tradition/achievement. ...I thought football was something you just watch on TV? (I did play football in HS one season. I started as a WR, broke my finger and couldn't catch the ball, and by the end of the season I was a 125 pound nose tackle. High school football coaches are insanely stupid.)
  5. Like I said before, I'm not used to 2 QB leagues, but based on how they are valued in your league, I think you have to consider keeping three of Brady, Wentz, Smith and Mariota. Also, I know that in keeper leagues that early R1 draft picks aren't as valuable as in standard, but I would at least consider keeping one of Collins and McKinnon and tossing back Zeke, unless you think he's a top 2 RB, which I don't. If it were me, it would be Thomas, Smith, Wentz, Mariota, Collins.
  6. Would love to hear that you lost 10-15 lbs in October. If anyone loses weight around Halloween, they deserve a medal. That is actually a wrestling tradition.
  7. I mean, lets be fair. Caratini or just about any catcher in the majors right now would be about the same quality as Contreras since the break. He needs extended rest.
  8. There are other players I would prefer, namely players that don't play 2B (poorly), but you can't argue with the price.
  9. As long as you still have an open RB spot to fill, even WITH Kamara I don't think you need to force yourself away from Bell with the top pick. He's the best value. Take him. Hell, you could trade Bell for a 2nd rounder-type WR and a decent RB. Take Bell and crush everyone with your awesome RB duo. And if you take Bell and guys like Kamara are already off the board, even in a WR zany league, you might cause a run on RBs, and then you could have better than Diggs sitting around in the 2nd, like a Devante Adams or so?
  10. Not at all. I think its a no brainer, myself (against righties)
  11. I know what you are saying, but to make my counter-point clear, I would be a VERY consistent hitter in the major leagues. no, you'd be a very consistent out.
  12. Because I didn't think about it very much. EDIT: Full disclosure: I finished my first draft and realized I didn't have a 2B, so I just threw Zobrist in. so, your first draft didn't include the cubs most consistent hitter? I know what you are saying, but to make my counter-point clear, I would be a VERY consistent hitter in the major leagues.
  13. Must be menstral. Oh, wrong Dangerfield movie fake injury. My bad.
  14. Can somebody recap? I refuse to go to that board. "mortgaging the future for a division that was 80% likely to be theirs anyway" which is swiftly shot down by others since we gave up absolutely nothing.
  15. Russell's glove doesn't slip in the field, only in the bed. [bbvideo=560,315]https://getyarn.io/yarn-clip/6df03946-7b23-48ee-ae87-65dafe465ed4[/bbvideo]
  16. If Yu is any kind of guide for that kind of....forget I said anything.
  17. Because of the draft trades your team is obviously awesome, but I'm not used to 2 QB leagues. If those tier of QBs go that early, I would think you'd want to stash a 3rd QB on your roster, right? Or at this point is it just dredges on the waiver wire so it doesn't matter anyhow? I mean, if its a keeper league, there has to be some value to stashing guys like Bridgewater or Jackson or other current backups/rookies that could be feasable fantasy starters if given the chance.
  18. Imagine a fan base where it is easy to forget a guy with a visible swastika tat in attendance at a game. Who knows though, maybe that lurker saw a guy burn a cross below the Addison platform.
  19. I mean, maybe, but you were the guy on an epic freak out bender that I was trying to make bets against during your doom boner sessions back in late 2016. And it worked didn’t it http://s3.amazonaws.com/images.hitfix.com/assets/7054/sigh.gif
  20. Spoken like a man whose money isn't actually being spent. I hope we get Harper, but man, that has to make them think twice when busting out a $350-$400 contract. They have no choice but for it to go right without starting to seriously hurt, unless they are just going to spend like the Dodgers and then none of it matters. Harper will be worth the investment. He’s a generational talent and he’s 25. Barring a major injury, he’ll be worth it. The Cubs channel or whatever it is going to be called will generate more than enough money to pay for him and everyone else when the time comes. Fingers crossed the new Cubs channel is somehow just a roku ap. I'd be so juiced to buy that.
