  1. Scot Prohaska ‏@ScotProhaska 36m Shea Mcclellin b4 training was 263lb,18%BF,4.74 40 & 320lb bench. NOW 252lb,10%BF, 4.5 40, 365lbs. Perfect for a LB. pic.twitter.com/0WeqLOW1OZ I thought the reason the Bears drafted Shea was that he was a DE who ran a low 4.5 40. But recently he ran a 4.74. Now he's lighter and just back to his old 40 time.
  2. I don't understand the sign and trade talk with Carmelo. He only would come to Chicago if he got the extra year that a sign and trade would bring?
  3. I like Spieth too. If he wins, he would be the youngest Masters winner ever. Just might be the next superstar.
  4. Not the same with Tiger Woods not playing. A bunch of big names including Phil Mickelson miss the cut. Bubba is playing great. Rory got unlucky today. Hit a sprinkler head on 12 and couldn't make a thing. Adam Scott in contention. An Adam Scott, Bubba Watson, or Fred Couples final pairing for Sunday would be good TV. The weather is perfect (outside of the horrendous pollen levels) and the course is playing firm and fast. Will be interesting to see if they give the greens any water tonight, but I doubt it.
  5. Bennett said business is business and I really thought he was going to go to the team that paid the most
  6. Sounds like they just matched Bears offer
  7. Official: Bennett stays. Crap.
  8. For just Melo. He's not signing for 3/$36M. He's signing for max. Melo can't sign for $20 million with the Bulls. Isn't that over max? I thought he has already said he is open to signing for something less than max money. He has seen what LeBron and the rest of the big three did. They took less to win. It's his time to do that.
  9. The Carmelo Anthony to the Bulls talk is heating up now that Anthony is getting ever frustrated with the Knicks this year. They have nothing for the foreseeable future. If Anthony wants to opt out and come to Chicago for 3 years, $36 million the Bulls would have to be interested. For those who say that Carmelo doesn't play defense, you're right. But if you want a guy at SF who can create his own shot and play defense, there's LebRon and Paul George and that's about it. Those guys don't grow on trees. I think he could be a serviceable defender under Thibs. But isn't the bigger problem that the Bulls are going to bring Mirotic over? You can't pay him and Anthony. Wouldn't that be $20 million at least?
  10. Take a flyer, see if he has anything, keep him away from other playoff teams Keep him away from other playoff teams? Bulls brass know at best they are losing in the second round even with Granger. And they would be over the cap.
  11. David Aldridge says Bulls might try to sign Granger if he is bought out. Why? Heat, Spurs, Clips also interested.
  12. US been close to a goal(s)?
  13. It's being broadcast on 670 The Score, and you can use Tune In to listen to that, assuming that they allow them to stream it. They aren't allowed to stream it
  14. Is there an app to stream the audio of USA vs Canada on my iPhone?
  15. I wanted Shea at LB the day they drafted him. Still, a huge draft mistake by Emery. Angelo got fired for missing on his number one pics. Emery better improve.
  16. Long has a higher ceiling than just being a solid starter
  17. Roy retired and Portland still used the amnesty clause on him? I thought if a guy retired you don't get paid and you don't need to amnesty.
  18. The way Taj is playing offensively is comforting knowing Boozer will be gone next year
  19. Kirk was the face of the organization at some point. Those were the days. So what happened to the 2014 board?
  20. I don't know why the rooftops don't just take the Cubs offer and get bought out. Guaranteed money and you can only at best get to the point where you you make as much money year after year as the Cubs were willing to buy you out for. Maybe this is more than money for the rooftops. There is so much ill will right now that even if the rooftops have views they can sell when their deal is up, Ricketts will block them all out when the contract is up anyway.
  21. Who said anything about them being able to block the rooftops without getting sued? Your quote a few places up. I meant a suit that has grounds and will win in court.
  22. If the Cubs can block the rooftops without getting sued, why wait this long to apply for the permit? What kind of contract would have been signed where the rooftop owners give 17% for obstructed views? No one would do that.
  23. You can have all the young outfield and infield talent you want, but I don't see a #1 or #2 pitcher in the system. I don't like the Cubs' chances of getting them in FA either. Teams re-sign those guys before FA.
  24. 58 degrees in Denver Sunday. Should help Manning.
